Hey guys, I had a question i found quite confusing...
I love watching the tour and watch every stage but I had thought that Rodriguez was one of the favorites this year after a 3rd place last year etc...I'm shocked to see him 46 min back of the lead and continually being dropped from the peloton. Why is this do you think? I thought he was an elite?

He crashed in the Giro and is mainly here for stagewins and building form for the Vuelta. |

What do you guys think about tomorrow's finale? If no break is allowed to stay away I really fancy Kwiatkowski here. He's shown great capabilities riding uphill this season.
Purito is obvious but who is too think he is any mentionable shape considering how he has fared so far. Then there's also Valverde.
Tomorrow will be favorites day and i will be very surprised if we don't see Contador, Valverde and anyone else with a big time gap to Nibali not testing him, so Astana will be at the front and trying to control the race and i don't think they will allow anyone to get away. |

Rodriguez as someone else said crashed during the giro and was forced to leave so this is kinda his Plan C where he uses the TdF to get ready for Vuelta. |

Seeing footage of Talansky blowing up about Gerrans is hilarious. Bloke seriously has no clue. |

Matthias Frank fractured femur. Very likely to abandon.
Edit: He has abandoned.

He has abandoned.
Atapuma's abandon was also because of a broken femur. |

Wow basically my whole velogames ruined... I had Froome, Frank and Atapuma. Also Pinot and Riblon turned out to be shit. Vanmarcke, Talansky, Rogers Bardet are left to get me points. |

Well, what did you expect from Pinot, Talansky and Bardet? That they suddenly became sprinters? A little to early yet! |

Talansky was a sprinter in PCMdaily database in 2010 IIRC.
And he beat Rojas in a sprint last year in TdF. |

Hmm, with the amount of time Contador has to gain, i dont think you will see any quiet stage during the next 3 days, Contador and the other top GC contenders have to test and test and test Nibali and his team every mountainstage the time is to much to relay on TT and the biggest mountain stages.
I hope you are right but as we have seen in the past the GC favorites even when they are behind seem to wait until the major stages. They had to test Froome when he was in the same position and barely even tried. |

Too bad for him and IAM. I read in the german "Tour" magazine an interview with him couple of weeks ago IIRC and he seemed more than ready to ride Tour de France as a contender. Well, Reichenbach to the rescue then? (Which is also better for my velogames team )

IIRC last year Rojas finished every stage in 7th or something

Ya i hope so to, because i am almost certain that if we don't see Contador attack tomorrow he is not where he is supposed to be.
Also did you guys hear the BMC problems.... hehe seems like Contador has to watch out for the BMC rage train. |

Already 34 minutes down He's probably going for stages in the mountains.
An absolute shame about Frank. I thought he was looking very good for a solid GC this year.

No, but they didn't look too good so far. Also with Talansky falling my luck is not high .
But yeah, we'll see today. |
