@sutty68
Lets hope Arredondo and Nicholas can provide some fireworks in La Vuelta!
@the_hoyle, @The Schleck Fan
Yes Nizollo was great. And Zoidl mostly benefitted from an echelon stage in which the entire team finished over 3 minutes ahead of the peloton.

Spoiler The update is a bit out there , but I hope that with a storyline starting now I can get a bit more into the character of Arcier.
With a loud shattering my 21 inch Samsung monitor found the end of its use. Reason? An email or rather THE email I received from Malteste National team manager, Oliver Vasco. The old man managed to sour up my return to Varese with the news that I would be ineligible for this years World Championship. Thanks to the wonderful people at Sky Procycling, who had registered me as a member of the American team supposedly to race the Tour de l’Avenir. (Something they did on purpose as they didn't put in the papers until the day after the World Championships in South Africa.) Meaning I was disallowed to ride any official races for the Maltese Cycling Union for one entire year.
Vasco was able to tell me he had put a lawyer on the case, but that the prospects weren’t looking good. I simply didn’t know if I had to be more upset at Sky or the UCI for this mess. The only thing I could do is what I always did in situations like this. I got my bicycle out and want for a long tour through the Lombardy hillside, not returning to the by then desolated streets of Varese until the early morning. As I entered my still lit apartment the first thing I did with a clear mind was to get out my training log which had the carefully planned out schedule one of our team trainers (Jacques Michaud) had planned out for me. There was no point in being morose, I had a goal, and that goal was to show Team Sky just how stupid it is to mess around with Nicholas Arcier.
But first I would have to go out and buy a new monitor.

Nooooooooooooooooooooo
I was looking Andyand Frank to comeback completely to win a GT.
But if you buy Betancur and Fuglsang the team will be much stronger.
And all if the team becomes stronger with new riders you should sell them even though they are my favourite riders especially Andy.
And buying Betancur and Fuglsang would be great

Unfortunately Andy nor Franck have the stats to win a GT in the FocusDB.

It was uncharacteristically hot when our team holed itself up in Asturias in the Northern part of Spain. With the mercury in the low 30s there where plenty of siestas planned in my agenda. Our base of operations was located in the Northern part of Oviedo for 7 days, an ideal location to scout the 15th and 16th stage of this years Vuelta. And to just get used to the Spanish landscape in general.
The team we had brought to our hotel (which was decorated in a modern style, yet still felt completely Spanish) was made out of our directeur sportif Josu Cortés with who I hadn’t worked in a race yet. The riders Julian Arredondo, Laurent Didier, Haimar Zubeldia, Markel Irizar and myself. And not to forget our cook, soigneur and mechanic. (If the team sends this many people to a training-camp for the least important GT of the year, what kind of army did they send for the Tour preparation?)
I ended up sharing a room with Mario our Italian mechanic simply because I was the only one fluent in Italian. (Which makes it easier to tell your Italian roommate not to snore so loudly!)
Most of the table conversation within the team was about the release of Andy and Franck Schleck, chatter about eating the wrong steak being stomped into the ground quite quickly by Josu. Insisting that after our success in the Giro (5 stage wins!) and Tour (5 stage wins!) it was our task to continue that success.
During the week I ended up spending most of my time with Julian simply because the Colombian pocket-climber was the only one around my age though partly because I was the only one able to follow him on most of the hills. Josu even wondered if I was peaking too early for the Vuelta. Half jokingly I told him I had been peaking since February. One thing was sure in the coming Tour of Utah I would be one of the strongest riders at the start.

On the last day of the camp it was Jacques Michaud who send me a whatsapp in which he had calculated my spring performance and training camp numbers into a statistical list. He also added a list with numbers of other riders in my age group.

Then selling them becomes the best option.
Also they aren't have stats to win Liege-Bastogne-liege or Lombardia right? |

No. Neither one have the endurance to last long over 200+km.
@sutty68
The Schlecks will start their own fishing business I heard.

Stage 1 | Utah Olympic Park - 7.5km
Julian Arredondo, Nicholas Arcier, Laurent Didier, Stijn Devolder, Markel Irizar, Haimar Zubeldia, Fumiyuki Beppu, Grégory Rast
There was something eerie about the now mostly desolated Utah Olympic Park, its temporary inhabitants in the forms of cycling fans cheering us on the only form of life. The facilities build in the early 21st century for the 2002 Winter Olympics looked out of place in the warm August sun.
Nonetheless the Olympic City was where the start of this years Tour of Utah would take place with a 7.5km climbing time trial. It came as no surprise that the three favourites for the final podium took the first 3 spots today. American favorite Lawson Craddock finished third, Gorka Izagirre from Movistar took second and the top favorite our very own Julian Arredondo took first. The Colombian pocket-climber once again confirming he was our man for the Vuelta.
As one of the outsiders I did not disappoint either with my fifth place finish. My goal wasn’t this time trial though. It was the last stage of this Tour where I would bring out the whip.

I don't follow any stories lately due to lack of time. But this one looks absolutely superb. Love the layout, clear and great to read. Love the updates within the team and outside.
Love it. Good luck to you, and Arcier
