It doesn't matter who they chose as team leader, if Sky starts a stage race in France they win it.
Luckily the Tour starts in England

Glad to see Betancur rewarded for the attack today - how easy was that sprint for him in the end. Exciting finish again.

Another exciting finish again. This time the victory was for Carlos Betancur (ALM) who makes a jump ahead in the GC. Geraint Thomas (SKY) remains race leader.
Tomorrow we have an uphill finish, the strongest guys in the pack have to make a difference there if they still want to win this race.
Navardauskas is apparently the one who threw Bardet and Bouet (who had to abandon) down their bikes today, not sure if he acted recklessly or deliberately pushed them both.

Think I caught that on the stream - looked like Bardet and Bouet had sat up and Navardauskas was chasing back on. He was going much quicker and they seemed to cut across him to which he shoved them to one side as he rode past.
That was my initial take anyway but it's also possible he was angry at them after a crash or that any injuries were caused by a preceding crash rather than the shove - wasn't aware that either went down when shoved aside but poor stream and narrow angle shot so hard to tell.

Vine clip of that incident - clearly nothing major but maybe something else happened at a later/earlier time?

Did they really fall after that? Doesn't look like it on the clip.
If they did, I don't think it was his intention. Clearly the motor was in the way and he wanted to catch the wheel of the chasers, while Bardet en Bouet where going too slow. He pushed him aside a bit to cut through them and the motor, I think.
