Do any of you know if the Tour of Oman 2014 Route is one the PCM Focus DB. Because if it isn't then I will carry on with the story. If it is does anyone know how long it will take.
Because I'm considering getting the Spain DB if it hasn't got the Oman 2014 Route instead. |

Tour of Oman: Stage 1
Very Disappointing in Oman.
Only a 3 man breakaway got a way with Tosh Van Der Sande, Juan Pablo Valencia and Floris Goesinnen. Tosh van Der Sande won the Mountain points claming the jersey for at least one day. Tosh van Der Sande also took both the Intermediate sprints. Team Sky were fast approaching just after the Sprint, But Omega Pharma Quick Step weren't happy with the Sky's pace. They took it up and burst more than half of the Peloton including the whole of Team Sky. Sky were unable to get back on and Wiggins and Froome came 5 minutes and 27 seconds down this would be hard to get back. Mark Cavendish took the stage with an easy stroll to victory with a great lead out from Petacchi, They both came 40 seconds ahead of a shortened peleton. Degenkolb lead them in.

Matthew21rp - Definitely going for stages but also hope for at top 10 or even a top 5.
If we look at our rivals they are good at Hill or Mountain, but the other stat isn't that good. Example: Sanchez Hill-79, Mountain-77, We wont drop him on the Hills but Mountain we should gain a bit of time. Moreno Hill-78, Mountain-76, we could possibly over take him if Froome is good enough. Evans Hill-76, mountain-75 we should definitely over take him. And they are the best GC riders. We aim podium place. |

Tour of Oman: Stage 2
Too early for Swift.
Ian Stannard attacked from the start line with Adam Hansen and Louis Verhelst following to form the breakaway. Louis Verhelst took the first sprint with Adam hansen took the last one. Adam Hansen also took both KoM. And on the last one Hansen and Stannard dropped Verhelst leaving a 2 man breakaway 2 minutes ahead with 20km to go, Things were looking promising. There was a small bump with 10km to go and Chris Froome broke things up sitting at the front. As soon as they got over the short climb Froome attacked and bridged the gap with 5km to go. But the peleton were closely behind them. Froome was caught with 2km to go and Cavendish and Swift launched the sprint. But had gone to early as Matt Goss sailed by taking the win comfortably ahead of Swift and then Cavendish. All sky Rider's came in the lead group.
Results:
Stage:
1. Matt Goss | Orica GreenEDGE | | 2. Ben Swift | Sky | | +0 | 3. Mark Cavendish | Omega Pharma Quick Step | | +0 | 4. John Degenkolb | Giant Shimano | | +0 | 5. Alessandro Petacchi | Omega Pharma Quick Step | | +0 |

sutty68 - The sprinters seem to be doing better than the climbers.
Matthew21rp - Hopefully he can do it next stage.
YvesStevens - A great start to the season. It will be good for him beating Cav |

Volta a Regiao do Algarve
Our Riders:
Danny Pate
Nathan Earle
Geraint Thomas
Bernhard Eisel
Gabriel Rasch
Kanstantin Siutsou
Luke Rowe
Startlist:
Favourites:
Sprint:
Andrea Guardini | Astana Pro Team | | Kristoff Goddaert | IAM | | Michael Matthews | Orica GreenEDGE | | Juan Jose Lobato | Movistar | | Thor Hushovd | BMC
Time Trial:
Sylvain Chavanel | IAM | | Jonathan Castroviejo | Movistar | | Rui Costa | Lampre | | Taylor Phinney | BMC | | Geraint Thomas | Sky
Hill and GC:
Vincenzo Nibali | Astana Pro Team | | Nairo Quintana | Movistar | | Igor Anton | Movistar | | Rui Costa | Lampre | | Chris Horner | Lampre
Game Plan:
We have two leaders Kanstantin Siutsou and Geraint Thomas. We have decided to mainly put our riders behind Siutsou but Thomas will be a handy lead out man and replacement if anything happens to Siutsou. The first day is a sprint and we will have Bernhard Eisel leading out Luke Rowe. The second stage we will just see the day out with no attacking, and then on the TT stage try and gain time with two great TT, Siutsou and Thomas. And on the last stage Siutsou will go for it. |

It'll be nice to see Thomas getting a chance to lead the team. And also maybe Rowe on stage 1
Edit: didn't see eisel and he's probably a better sprinter than Rowe
