Goals Review and Season Analysis
WIN Post Danmark Rundt (HC) - 3rd, Kai Reus
WIN Isle of Man TT (C1) - 8th, Kai Reus
TOP 5 Tour of Britain (HC) - 13th, Cyril Gautier
TOP 5 Olympia's Tour (C1) - 3rd, Kai Reus
TOP 10 PCT Team Standings - 9th, La Vie Claire
2/5 then, with an additional 2 goals in which we recovered some goal points - much like last season. A bit disappointing, but then they were planned out without knowing who would be taking aim at them. Fortunately next season we will be able to plan around Gautier for our goals, so we expect an improvement. Below we have our statistical analysis of points per race day and points per thousand spent on wages. It shows clearly who underachieved (Haussler, Gadret, Sonnery) and overachieved (Maillet, Mandri, Mazur).

Gautier en rouge, blanc et bleu!
This season we signed reigning French champion Cyril Gautier from Team BPost - Vlaanderen, and his distinctive jersey was seen at the forefront of many a race. He won the Gisborne GP, finished 2nd in the Scandinavia Open Road Race and 3rd in the Tour of South Africa as well as amassing a great palmares - 13th was his worst finish all season. However, his biggest aim was regaining his title of national champion, which he achieved on a hilly course ahead of our transfer target, Anthony Roux. The two were seen engaging in a detailed conversation on the podium, suggesting Roux could be on his way to partner Gautier next season. Also, rumours have been swirling around that Ayubowan! could be PT next season should teams disband. Management are unable to comment as put simply, they don't know themselves, but expect the situation to resolve itself in due course. For now though, the planning is focused on a PCT title tilt.

Pretty sure Roux sold the win there.
This costs extra money in the transfer season then. |

Promotion?!
News broke overnight that we will be in the Pro Tour next season, following disbandments. Obviously this is huge news for us, in only our second PCT season and we're absolutely delighted to get this opportunity. A more in depth planning post will come later, but I can confirm what everyone is thinking. Signing Romain Sicard is our number 1 priority |

Seconding Heine there!
Congratulations, although I would've loved to race against you next season too.
Luckily I don't have many French riders on my shortlist anyway, so we should be fine in transfers. I'm looking forward to see how you'll try to become PT-ready (besides Sicard).

When I look on your roster, you have such a lot of work to do, but it is already exciting to see a team from Sri Lanka in the top division. But still big congrats, great to meet you in PT, jph!

Thanks! and thanks for letting me loan Boroš, he was hugely impressive for me this season
In terms of work to do, I agree wholeheartedly. I only plan on keeping 6 of my current riders next season so it'll be a busy transfer season for me, with a massive remodelling going on |

Unsurprising win in Sri Lanka!
After Cyril Gautier won the French Road NC, our attention turned to the Sri Lankan NCs - after all, from next season on they'll be the only two NCs we compete in. We expected to fill the podium in both races, as we had the only professionals at the startline, in Ishan Sandakelum, Dane Steve Nugara and Laxmen Wijerathna. The Road Race came down to a sprint, with Sandakelum comfortably outsprinting the others, while Nugara won the TT from Wijerathna and Sandakelum, leaving Laxman as the odd man out. We also spoke to a few Sri Lankans hoping to step up to the pro ranks next season, should they get a licence, which we look forward to. And elsewhere, Mustafa Carsi pulled off a double win in Turkey in his final race for the team.

Updated Shortlist Released!
With our promotion being confirmed, I figured I may as well update our shortlist. Obviously there are riders on it that we expect to have no chance of signing, and it will change when the new database is released, but this is just to express interest and see who needs to be chalked off. Also, some riders aren't listed due to being low priority at the moment, but they may move up the list if others are unavailable. Riders are listed in each section from most intetesting to least interesting.

More hoping you might loan him to PT than anything. I know fine well he's going nowhere |

Sorry to say, but the whole point of this season's loan was to get him to 4.80 or thereabouts, and that worked like a charm so even without wildcards, he'll be fine in PCT.
Good luck with pursuing all others though!

Yeah I figured as much guessing the same holds true for Daniel, but I'll definitely be in touch about Bar. |

Well in contrary to Demare, Daniel is not the absolute best possible option as a leader for the next 5-6 years, so there might be some movement possible provided we find an even stronger replacement.
