Over the past 24 hours, In-n-out p/b Carrefour has sold 4 of their riders. 3 of the 4 were great contributors to the team last season and the other never rode a single race in the squad's jersey as he was on loan to Jaguar last year.
After Chavanel requested a transfer, management had no choice but to sell him despite their team's wishes. Sylvain Chavanel was transfered to a new team by the name of: Fox Sports - Golomt. Chavanel had but a single thing to say on the transfer, "I'm glad to be able to start fresh with a new team". Everyone involved with the team is still confused as to why he requested a transfer, but what's done is done.
In addition to Chvanel, they also packaged Christophe Kern and Nicolas Rousseau to move to Sodexo. Both we key contributors but age seems to have caught up to Kern as well as Rousseau. Therefore, the team needed them to dump them to make space in their salary cap, which they did.
The last rider to leave, never actually got to ride a single race for In-n-out, Chris Barton . Barton was transferred over to Team Type 1 after management received an offer they really could not refuse. Chris Barton said this about the situation: "Not gonna lie, this last year was not what I expected when I signed to In-n-out, but being loaned out to Jaguar taught me a lot of things, honestly, I'm quite happy to join a team that will actually keep me...hopefully"
The team received a total of 360,000 in transfer fee money from all 4 transfers and has been looking to make some nice signings with that money. We'll see what they can do!

Us here at In-n-out p/b Carrefour have decided to announce who we've brought in on loan for the season. First is the young cobbler from Spain on loan from Movistar - US Postal, Daniel Ruiz. The next two riders we took on loan were both from Puma - SAP. Both prefer more elevation when they ride. Christian Mager is a very talented puncheur while Clement Chevrier is used to more Mountainous terrains. Chevrier fits the team french focus while Mager is German.
their stats:
Spoiler Mager | 69 | 69 | 72 | 61 | 66 | 68 | 67 | 56 | 60 | 67 | 63 | 69 | 61 | Chevrier | 64 | 71 | 70 | 57 | 68 | 67 | 66 | 50 | 60 | 63 | 73 | 59 | 57 | Ruiz | 67 | 58 | 58 | 56 | 71 | 68 | 61 | 70 | 54 | 57 | 66 | 63 | 56 |

The last two riders that will leave In-n-Out are Julian Rodas and Remy Di Gregorio. Di Gregorio will head over to Eddie Stobart after the team had been looking to transfer him for a long time, and actually received a good amount of money for him.
But on the other hand, Rodas was not expected to be transferred, however the team needed the money and he was sold for a mere 20k, which is very, very little for a Man Game legend and for someone who finished 4th in the Tour of America.
It will be interesting who the team invested in with the money they acquired for each of the two riders.

Welcome...Cherif Abdallah
In-n-Out p/b Carrefour was looking to aquire another sprinter. However, they wanted one that would succeed on the very flat stages after Benoit Sinner failed miserably at that a year ago. After they saw the Abdallah was available from the same team that sold them Julian Rodas, Project:Africa. Abdallah was acquired for 180k and will be payed 50k in wage.
Abdallah hasn't had many good results in the PCT, but maybe the change of scenery will lead him to better results
Key Stats: 78 spr, 76 acc
Our next rider is our 3rd rider to come from Puma-SAP after Mager and Chevrier were loaned in. Delage will be very helpful in helping Sweeting and Sonnery as hill sprinters. Delage will be a great addition at only 150k and 55k wage.
Delage has won the GP Plouay and a stage at the FBD Eire Tour as well as top 5 in Rund um den Eschborn-Frankfurt, The tour of the Battenkill and Paris-Tours
Key Stats: 73 hill, 73 spr

After slowly welcoming some riders, In-n-Out has decided to screw it and reveal their team for this season
Absolute Leaders:
Tours/Mountains:
Jakub Novak (CZE)
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PRL |
70 | 76 | 73 | 76 | 75 | 73 | 75 | 60 | 64 | 64 | 64 | 61 | 76 |
Novak will be one of the better leaders in the CT in regards to tours with his 76 mountain and 76 TT. Expectations for him will be very high after coming in from Becherovka for 849k.
Hills:
Phillip Gaimon (USA)
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PRL |
71 | 72 | 75 | 69 | 75 | 72 | 71 | 50 | 67 | 74 | 75 | 61 | 69 |
Had fantastic results for us last year including winning in the first race we participated in ever. With the overall boost in talent in the CT, we don't expect the same performance as last year, but we still expect him to pick up quite a few points this season.
Sprinters:
Blaise Sonnery (FRA)
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PRL |
69 | 71 | 70 | 64 | 66 | 71 | 75 | 53 | 78 | 73 | 67 | 60 | 64 |
Sonnery has a fantastic Mountain and Hill stat for a rider with 78 sprint. We expect quite a few good results from the frenchman as we brought him in for 390k. But we also are pretty sure he'll be able to deliver.
Robert Sweeting (USA)
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PRL |
73 | 53 | 70 | 60 | 72 | 69 | 75 | 58 | 76 | 75 | 63 | 60 | 67 |
Almost a not-as-good version of Sonnery. However, Sweeting had 4 wins last year which is more than what Sonnery has had in his whole career, so Sweeting gets a role as a leader because of his spectacular track-record.
Back-Up Leaders/Super Domestiques
Romain Hardy (FRA)
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PRL |
70 | 75 | 73 | 59 | 73 | 68 | 70 | 66 | 69 | 70 | 74 | 75 | 59 |
Hardy was one of the 2 free agents that we brought in this year. We nabbed Hardy for 115k and expect him to be a good leader when Novak is not available or be Novak's top helper in important races.
Cherif Abdallah (EGY)
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PRL |
68 | 56 | 63 | 57 | 73 | 62 | 72 | 57 | 78 | 76 | 56 | 64 | 57 |
Abdallah comes in from Project:Africa to be our sprinter in flat races, which is an area that we sturggled in last year *cough*Because Benoit Sinner Sucks*cough*. Abdallah is also a double national champion bringing some much needed jersey variety to our squad.
Other Notable Riders
Joey Rosskopf
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PRL |
73 | 71 | 74 | 74 | 72 | 70 | 68 | 57 | 61 | 70 | 68 | 67 | 75 |
Joey is the second of the free agents we signed and is still a fantastic rider for someone who is not maxed out yet. Joey will be a great mountain helper and a great time trailer at the same time.
Mickael Delage (FRA)
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | COB | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PRL |
74 | 67 | 73 | 59 | 73 | 70 | 71 | 63 | 73 | 71 | 76 | 64 | 59 |
Delage is one of our 3 riders to come from Puma - SAP. He is good in the hills as well as a good lead-out rider for our sprinters. For us, the 150k we payed for him will most definitely be worth it.
Rest of the Squad
Alexandre Aulas - Cobbles Leader/Sprint Trains
Jean-Lou Paiani - Cobbles Rider/Breakaway rider
Cyril Lemoine - Cobbles Rider/Sprint Trains
Yoann Offredo - Cobbles Rider/TT specialist
Christian Mager - Loanee
Antoine Matteau - TT Specialist
Clement Chevrier - Loanee
Daniel Ruiz - Loanee

Our series where we interview some of our riders is back!
Spoiler This is where we will be interviewing riders about anything from their Schedule this season to how much they hate French food.
Here we go!
(RS = Robert Sweeting, INT = Interviewer)
INT = Here we are back with another season of the crappy series called "Interrogations" where we interview riders! On this episode is Robert Sweeting who was actually not interviewed last year despite being on the team
RS = Happy to be here!
INT = Alright, as you know this transfer season, the team brought in Blaise Sonnery who is also a sprinter who excels in the hills and mountains, are you worried that he'll take your spot?
RS = Honestly, not gonna lie, I am slightly because he is a better sprinter than I am. So I went and spoke with managment
INT = what did they tell you?
RS = That they had decided to enlist in many hilly races allowing us to split the races. However, if we rode the same races, I would still have a free role to ride as I wanted
INT = Did Sonnery's arrival make you feel betrayed after having an amazing season last year?
RS = well 12 top 5 finishes including 4 wins isnt too bad i guess haha, well actually I didnt feel too bad about it because you know business is business
INT = alright, next subject, which of you 4 wins was your favorite?
RS = Hmm that's really a tough question, it is definitly either stage 7 or 17 of the Tour of America because it was a big sponsor goal and it was against PCT competition too
INT = alright pick!
RS = I think i have to pick stage 7 because it was a hugely dominating victory and it was earlier in the race when the sprinters still had a lot of stamina
INT = good choice, finally heres our last question, where do you see the team finishing this year?
RS = I think with Novak, Hardy and Rossokpf in the mountains, Phillip Gaimon in the hills and Sonnery & I as multi-terrained sprinters, I think we can finish in the top 10
INT = Alright thanks for your time Robert!

Today, we decided it was time to reveal our team's full calendar, notice how we decided not to ride in the tour of america, which was our marquee race last year. We just don't feel that we'll be able to pick up enough points to warrant it taking up 21 race days

After winning last years edition with Phillip Gaimon, we were looking to have similar success this year. Unfortunately, Phillip couldn't keep up with the tougher puncheurs in the CT. He still hung on for a 12th place, but hopefully this isnt a sign for things to come.
1 | Jose Mendes | Severstal-Mercator | 5h11'36 | 2 | Frantisek Rabon | Novatek-Panarmenian.net | + 49 | 3 | Janier Alexis Acevedo | Alpina - Avianca | + 1'00 | ... | 12 | Phillip Gaimon | In-n-Out Cycling Team Powered By Carrefour | s.t. |
This was the debut for our newly-aquired sprinter Cherif Abdallah. But unfortunaly for him, the pace was extremely high resulting in him being dropped before the final sprint.
1 | Maximiliano Richeze | SanCor Cycling Team | 4h25'42 | 2 | Claudio Corioni | Strava | s.t. | 3 | Wes Sulzberger | Gatorade - SIS | s.t. | ... | 28 | Yoann Offredo | In-n-Out Cycling Team Powered By Carrefour | s.t. |
Stage 1 was a prologue where we didn't expect to really do much. However Phillip Gaimon was able to pull a 12th place, putting him into a nice position in the GC. Stage 2 was a sprint finish with Robert Sweeting and Phillip Gaimon finishing in the top 10, 5th and 9th respectively.
Stage 3 was another hilly sprint stage. Sweeting hung on to the front group, but then he he was too dead in the finale to sprint. So Gaimon sprinted off to a nice 8th place. Which in turn pushed Gaimon into 8th in the GC.
Stage 4 was a cobbled stage where not much went well for us. However, with all the hilly riders loosing a lot of time, we had Delage, Sweeting and Gaimon all in the top 20 in the GC. Stage 5 was a useless sprint stage for us as well as stage 6. However, cross wind helped split the peleton multiple times on each stage, putting Gaimon into 9th place in the final GC.
1 | Marc De Maar | Carlsberg - Danske Bank | 22h58'48 | 2 | Rudy Molard | Generali - Kronenbourg 1664 | + 31 | 3 | Elia Favilli | Strava | + 43 | ... | 9 | Phillip Gaimon | In-n-Out Cycling Team Powered By Carrefour | + 3'59 |
This was set to be a nice flat cobbled stage where Alexandre Aulas could pull a top 10 finish, which was exactly what he did by finishing exactly 10th.
1 | Sebastian Langeveld | Strava | 5h07'49 | 2 | Marc De Maar | Carlsberg - Danske Bank | + 28 | 3 | Dmitri Kozontchuk | Compal-Merida | + 2'00 | ... | 10 | Alexandre Aulas | In-n-Out Cycling Team Powered By Carrefour | + 4'42 |
This was our first sponsor goal of the season as we were expected to pull through with a victory. However with the very tough startlist, we were very, very lucky to manage a 4th place victory with Phillip Gaimon
1 | Jukka Vastaranta | DeLaval - Kiitokori | 5h00'20 | 2 | Andrey Zeits | Netia - Norske Skog | + 19 | 3 | Winner Anacona | DeLaval - Kiitokori | s.t. | 4 | Phillip Gaimon | In-n-Out Cycling Team Powered By Carrefour | s.t. |
Now we don't have much time so, here's a very quick recap
Stage - 1, Hilly sprint stage, Delage takes 5th place
Stage - 2, More mountainous sprint stage, Blaise Sonnery takes 4th place
Stage - 3, Mountainous sprint stage, Break goes the distance, Mickaël Delage finishes 4 out of the bunch with Sonnery taking 7th, we had 6 guys in the top 20 of the stage
Stage - 4, Mountain stage, Novak looses 44 seconds on the leaders while Hardy finishes 8th with the leaders.
Stage - 5, Sprint Stage, Nothing much for us
Stage - 6, Sprint Stage, Blaise Sonnery takes 2nd in a great sprint on his part
Stage - 7, Another Sprint Stage, Sonnery takes 4th place
Stage - 8, Mountain Stage, Our dreams are crushed as for some reason Novak (the 5th best climber in the race at least) finishes 15th
Stage - 9, (More of Stage 8)
Stage - 10, (More of Stage 9)
(Stage 11 and 12 on the way)

Season 2 wrap-up, Looking to Season 3
Team Final Rank =
8 | In-n-Out Cycling Team Powered By Carrefour | 1130 |
Main Rider Ranks =
14 | Jakub Novak | CZE | 307 | 27 | Phillip Gaimon | USA | 208 | 48 | Joey Rosskopf | USA | 158 | 71 | Romain Hardy | FRA | 106 |
With the season over, We can all see it has been quite a mixed season for In-n-Out, on one hand, they did achieve 2 out of their 5 objectives which is quite a step up from the 0 they achieved in season 1.
However, their off season additions didn't push them to the automatic promotion spot that they were hoping for, Jakub Novak did do well pulling in a few victories and quite a few top 5 spots, pulling him up to 14th overall in the individual rankings. Rosskopf and Gaimon's good seasons were pleasant surprises, but the whole group was just full of mediocre results throughout the whole season.
Looking towards next year, The team will be promoting into the PCT after numerous disbandments, at first, the team wasn't sure if the team was ready for promotion, but after long deliberation, the team has taken a PCT spot and will promote.

After the news that the team has promoted, all of the sponsors that were a part of the In-n-Out p/b Carrefour last year, will be return for the next season.
However, there will be a single change, Carrefour has pushed for the team to look for more French riders. Therefore, the team focus will be on French riders for the upcoming season.
That will not interfere with the team, as mostly, the team is going to ignore nationality in regards to team leaders, we saw that last transfer season with Jakub Novak.
Very little changes seem to be occurring this off-season with the team
