I just read through the last MFS thread: Two questions, 1) Does the budget after transfers carry on to the next season? 2) Is the whole system inflationary...from reading the last thread transfer money is only reallocated between teams, so it is impossible for money to be taken out of the system?

Good questions. Will money carry over.... No it won't. It will reset each season to avoid insane inflation. Money can leave the system via the FA sales. Because FA's come from unmanaged teams any money used in buying them is therefore out of the system.

Please don't... I'm not going to start the transfer up over the Christmas period. Earliest would be 28th, and i mean absolute earliest. More likely the 30th/31st/1st time frame.
Between now and then i've still got some info to release and rules to confirm, which could make a difference to any ideas.

So that must mean that free agents must be pretty top notch and expensive!? Since there is no incentive to keeping any transfer money for the next season, no manager will want to hold onto it...thus meaning that everyone will try to spend everything, but there will always be dead money in someone's hands right? Surely the free agent sales can't amount to the total combined budget of all the teams, right?

No the FA's will not have a total value of all the budgets because there are nowhere near that many really special riders not in managed teams. There are some good ones which i know will be fought for.
Equally there is the option to buy a non-managed rider outside of a FA sale, and that takes all the budget a team has left (minimum 75% original budget).
Everyone will be trying to spend money, but that would happen regardless of specific numerical values. I grant that the numbers look but, but even if it was £3.50 total budget the result would be the same.
And as i mentioned, Money will have other uses in future seasons. For now it's keeping things simple and quick. This way people don't have to over think their transfers and things will be easy to manage on my end.
