Important win for Oz. Maybe the results that sees them stay up.

Fucking Hell Yes! Comfortably our biggest result this season, and our 2nd Stage win... which is slightly sad. Bucciero might just have got himself a 2014 contract.
Shame Georgiev has been worse than useless and Chicchi missed his biggest chances early on.

Ah so close. I thought Allonca could take it. Nice escapade though, and congrats TMM on that victory.

Congrats to Oz, Repsol and especially Boeing for Bucciero win, it seems that he still has it after very nice last season in Metinvest colours, strong and agressive road captain.
Nice reports Roturn. Battle for the 1st place seems over, but anything can happen.

Seems like the Kazakh will win this, I just hope that Ratiy can climb into a better position soon, and maybe Jaime take a stage or 2 more.

A good TT by Vrecer and climbing up into 8th. Not bad. |

Haven't been following the race rigidly, but seeing Kash domination, could the points from this race be enough to make Repsol survive? Very intresting for sure though. Great reports Roturn, and a great pace, big well done.

Not sure what happened to Zabel.
It was Ratiy-Sieberg-Zabel-Castaneda. Ratiy left early as GC riders usually do when working for the sprinters.
Zabel somehow left with ~4km to go just before the real sprint started. Normally Zabel with his hill stat should be able to do better though. |

I was starting to lose my hopes on getting a victory after getting two 2nd places in a row, and then Santos triumphs again! What season he's had. Now if Nicácio is able to hold his top10 place till the end our intentions here will be fulfilled.
Kashechkin's dominance might just be the saving board for his team. WWE are also having a tremendous ToA gathering points in a lot of stages. Both teams could see their gap substantially reduced or even erased, in especially when some of their direct rivals are scoring less then they were hoping for. Then again the season is not ending here so...
Once again, thank you very much roturn.

With WWE and Repsol doing so well I'll likely slip down further. But it's nice to see that happening, keeps the hope for my team alive

Come on... Come on! Just that bit more Francesco, just that bit more... please! The one day he gets into a good position i am convinced he'll bring home the bacon...
Would not have said Mezgec as first sprinter to double up... Probably would have gone with Greipel... not that it matters

First real bummer for Peraud in the mountains.. Hoping for smaller gaps and better tactics in the remaining tough mountains. Would be so important to finish inside Top-5 or so, but that's much more difficult to achieve now Not a good day for Oz's hopes to stay in the PCT, that's for sure.

Great stage report there, captured the mood of the race for sure.
Big result here for Repsol, not sure it's enough but certainly ruffles things up.
Very sad for Gadret.

kung's closing in on the KOM lead which could well save this tour for us, shame the gap's still so big but hopefully he can claw it back.
