5hadows - Problem is I edited most of the stuff way back in Januari and Februari. So if a mistake was made then, I'd have to go back to the beginning
Daggen - The name comes from the Beatles song, yes And I'm afraid the game won't fix itself, I'm trying to fix it but it's a strange problem and I'm getting nowhere
I already miss my dose of your stories. A possible way of going around it is to get one of the most recent weekly saves that weren't edited, then just simulate itbtill the world champs and continue. Also edit the stats, fitness and the important stuff so they're are the same as the corrupted one. This might be different but it just might get my daily dose of BMC BACK.
The day when bike gears turn automatic. = Why not now? They did it with cars.
5hadows - I could do that but the problem is that I always edit a lot of stuff at January 1st.
sutty68 - It's nice to hear that. It really was unfortunate.
I'll try one last time today to "fix" the game, I'll try a few things. I'll let you know by tonight at last whether it worked. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
Well, it's not good. To be on the safe side (for my computer and my future with PCM13), I will re-install Pro Cycling Manager 2013, re-install the Realname database and create a new database.
So that means this is over, since I won't try to recover the (most probably corrupted) save file.
I kind of liked the style and I was finally growing into it, I think. So there's a question here from me to you.
This could've been another story ended shortly because of external reasons. However, this could also have been a test run, to see how a story in this format would work.
I'd like to start another story (this time a rider from a country I know the WC works with, taking no chances) in this format. Taking my experience from this story and making the next one better and do it right from the start.
Another rider, another type of rider.
The big question is, are you interested? I don't want to do it if you don't really like the format/lay-out. So are there who really enjoyed this and want to see more, or was it just a little bit of fun but it's best that it ends?
Hoping for honest answers here, no point in being Mr/Mss nice guy/gal now Just the truth: did/do you like it? Would you like to see more of it? I wouldn't want to read you all like it here but in fact nobody'll follow it, see?
Thanks in advance!

In a turn of events (thanks to lluuiiggii), it seems this might not be over after all!
I've given him a Weekly Save before the Worlds and he might be able to fix it.
Looks like this will continue anyway! Only too bad I already deleted all the screenshots and results, but the main thing is we can continue. I'll make it work
Yes!!!! lets hope that he can come up with a miracle. Anyways, if you really have to go plan B (new game) can it be from BMC please? Not that it has to but just a suggestion
The day when bike gears turn automatic. = Why not now? They did it with cars.
All right, I like to keep my great readers in the loop of what's going on!
Firstly, I wish to thank everyone following this. For some it's not their favorite format to follow, so thanks for trying and I hope you are all enjoying this!
Secondly, this will continue (bar technical impossibilities), but I'm awfully busy. I had an exam this morning, a show with the band this evening, a new exam in two weeks and a lot of work in between. It will move slowly, but it will (start to) move again shortly.
Brings me to my third point: still a problem with WC, can't be helped. I will play them as a classic. There is a possibility that this will never be fixed, in that case I will race them every year as a classic. Biggest consequence? Fitness schedule doesn't work, so everyone (even 200 race days) has a chance of winning. If that's the only disadvantage, I can live with that, hope you can, too.
Some screenshots and results have been lost as a result of me cleaning up my computer before lluuiiggii came to the rescue, so the next update of the story will take a little jump. It'll either be about the 2013 World Championships or immediately jump to 2014.
