COZZA! JV was impressed by Steve last year so I guess Steve made it in. He might not be in the best shape cause of his crash/concussion/broken collarbone when he was mountain biking a couple months ago.
Scotty Nydam was supposed to be one of the leaders for BMC but he crashed in qatar and his father was recently diagnosed with Brain cancer. :cry:Scotty shaved his head for his father.
I will be at the finish of stage 1 all day so hopfeully I can get a bucnh of autographs. I am going to get Cavendish's and Wiggins John Hancock's so i can rub it in your faces I won't be going to the Prologue however cause I have better things to do (race bitches)

I'm actually surprised that Tour of California wasn't promoted to PT-race this season. Again, I still think the profiles look boring, but based on the startlist it's surely a PT-worthy race.

It should've been ProTour. With so many teams wanting to please american sponsors, it'll always have a great startlist.

An interesting Proposal arose on VeloNews.com.
Move the Tour of California to July and make it three weeks long.
I like it!

I dont, 3 weeks is just too long, and most riders will to for the Tour anyway. of course, Contador and co will be there in top form now they're not invited for the tour |

No one respectable would go. Three weeks is much too long for a minor race and there are a bunch of established races in July already.

Wow, fantastic idea. So, you know .. it's like .. you know.. What would they call it? .. Right, I have an idea -- Tour of America.
... I rest my case. |

I think it is too early in the season to throw in any really tough climbs. I am actually surprised that they made as hard as they did for this year. |

Tour Méditerranéen, Chavanel wins (the older one), which is another Cofidis win after yesterday Duque won the bunch sprint , although the competition wasn't exactly stellar. Botcharov won the other day at the top of the Faron, so he wins the overall easily.
Giro di Grosseto, Napolitano wins the final stage and Pozzato the overall.
in the Vuelta a AndalucÃa, José López of the Andalucia team won after a day-long break. it's stage 1 so he gets the jersey

Evans won stage 2 in Ruta Del Sol.
L'Hôtellerie (or however it's spelt), takes the jerseys leader.
He's only 21, probably a future TDF winner. The proof if needed that Frenchies have talent as long as they can take dope. |

Only in Portugal... This is an historic day... Never thought this day would come... But it did!!!
Btw, I'm not talking about the fact that Vaitkus won the stage... I'm talking about the fact that Schroder was 3rd but still manage to be 2 seconds faster than the Forster(2nd)... Great news for cycling...

Not sure whether you're kidding or not, but that's the time bonus the riders got. |
