Eurosport - Schlecks on fire in Malaysia
SportingNonsense
Definately, Im hoping he can aim for a top 10 position in the Continental Rankings, and of course it means we dont have to avoid the mountainous tours. Smile

As you are all well aware there will be some team changes over the winter, and here they are in full:

La Francaise Des Jeux > Qantas.
The Australian company have taken over FDJ to make it an Australian ProTour squad. They will need to reinforce though as they lose Gilbert + Lovkvist. Their deal with Cavendish also fell through as he joins Rapha Condor. Some big Australian names will be targeted.

Euskaltel Euskadi > Rapha Condor - Spiuk
Rapha Condor are set to invest in some big names and should be a force to be reckoned with.

Bouygues Telecom > Carlsberg - CBB Cycling
A fairly young squad for Denmark's 2nd ProTour squad, although they will be led by Germans Kessler, Schumacher, Haussler + Ciolek.

Communidad Valenciana > Tinkoff Credit Systems
Tinkoff fill the void of the discontinued Spanish squad and have recruited many strong riders, they should earn promotion.

Team Barloworld > Barloworld - Negacion
The British based team have received backing from a (fake) Spanish company Negacion. They have not only brought extra funds but also the opportunity to buy new riders to push for the ProTour. New signings include Continental tour leader Samuel Sanchez, plus Ruben Plaza and Paolo Savoldelli.

Barbot Halcon > Recycling.co.uk
Only Sergio Sérgio remains as the British squad take over the wreckage of the Portugese Squad. Chris Newton will lead.

Vitoria - ASC > Plowman Craven Evans Cycles
Another Portugese squad makes way for a British Squad, this time with no survivors. New Zealander Gordon McCauley and Brit Simon Gaywood will lead.

Team Lamonta > Air NewZealand
A New Zealand team at last! They take over from the German squad and will presumably look to sign as many Kiwis as possible.

Davitamon Lotto > Shell Lotto
Lotto were looking for a new co-sponsor and they found Shell Belgie, but instead of being called Shell Belgie Lotto, they opted for Shell Lotto. With brand new signings Bettini, Gonchar and Rebellin joining Shell look like a strong force to reckon with, even with Robbie McEwen's future uncertain.

Thanks Grin

I have a Belgian cobbles race and the Belgium ITT Championships to come in August, September brings a couple of one day races plus the World Championships (Where I think I get to manage Britain at), plus 1 or 2 more days racing in October and then the season ends.

I have already added the new jerseys for next year and I have started to add some PCMdaily riders to the database (Myself, CrueTrue, Crommy, Obukkake and Dawso so far) but i can't do main transfers of actual riders until the season ends fully.

Aitor Gonzalez won the Vuelta for DFL Cyclingnews ahead of Gomez Marchante + Sastre.

DFL gained so many points from the Vuelta but as none of it actually got added to the ProTour standings, DFL are still in deep danger.

17. Ag2r - 65 pts
18. Credit Agricole - 64 pts
19. DFL - 63 pts

it's wierd how they didn't get any points for winning the VueltaShock

SportingNonsense
Itwas the same in the Giro aswell, and as the Giro + Vuelta are in the same 'group' of races, i reckon theres something wrong with that group.

Crommy
Which DB are you using?
I have the same thing, but just with the Giro. I'm using PCM Spain 2006

Martin Elmiger wins Zuri - Metzgete! The DFL - Cyclingnews rider was determined to win to save his squad from relegation - and he has done just that.
