Royal Smilde Olympia's Tour - Stage 4
Welcome to stage 4! Will Tissot ride with the same tactic as yesterday? It seemed they almost had a victory. We'll see:
The stage started out really fast. With the peloton not willing to let the breakaway go. After a while the situation got settled and the breakaway got formed, quickly gaining ground.
50 km to go: The lead is cut down to half, and with 3 minutes it looks like they will get caught today.
18 km to go: With the break still at 1:40 it could go either way. Nonetheless Tissot forms their train for Hofstetter.
5 km to go: Tissots lead out train is up front, and with the breakaway in sight it's looking good for Tissot today. Let's hope Hofstetter has the legs today!

2 km to go: Bierli launches the sprint. Hofstetter is on his wheel and they are in a very good position. Today it might all work out....

1.5 km to the line: Hofstetter launches his sprint. Can he stay up front?
Noo, the legs just didnt work today for him... 8th place, still good but the ambitions were higher.

Royal Smilde Olympia's Tour - Stage 5
Stage 5 today. Will this very short stage be the one? With just 110 km Hofstetter should certainly be fit for the finish today...
Right at the start it was Pache who launched an attack to get into the breakaway. But the peloton didn't wanted him to go, so he could only escape with his second attempt.
He tryed to win the sprint, but after he missed it he was waiting for the peloton.
20 km left: The breakaway has just a little over a minute lead, looks like it's going to be another mass sprint, and yet another chance for Hofstetter.
10 km to go: With the high pace of the peloton it gets ripped into two pieces. Bierli is stuck in the second half of the peloton. Only Tschopp and Hofstetter are up front. This doesn't look good....
5 km to go: Hofstetter is in a very bad position way back. Tschopp has to give it his all to bring him to the front, but it looks like it's going to be too late.
1.5 km to the line: Hofstetter has to launch his sprint from way back. He doesn't stand a chance today and can only watch how Enger (GMS) takes this vicotry.

Royal Smilde Olympia's Tour - Stage 6
Today it's the time trial. Pache is rumoured to be amongst the favourites for todays stage, so let's see how well he'll do today.
On the first intermeditae time he was 12'' behind. But we know that Pache always keep some extra fuel for the final few km, so let's hope he can finish strong today.

And he does! he finishes strong and now leads by 17 seconds! But half of the riders are still missing, so it's time to hope it's fast enough for a victory today!
One rider after another crosses the finish line. But so far noone comes even close.
Pache had a nearly perfect second half of the time trial today, it's going to be hard to beat his time.
They all lose 20 seconds to Pache on the second half of the course.
Next up is Bierli. On the first intermediate he's just 5 seconds behind Pache. But he's fast in the second part... He crosses the line... 4th place for Bierli. Decent time trial by him as well.

But in the end it was just not fast enough from Pache, as he finishes 10th with 17 seconds behind today's winner Cardoso.

Royal Smilde Olympia's Tour - Stage 7
Final stage today. Let's see what will happen today...
Right from the start a breakaway formed that quickly gained a lot of ground.
120 km to go: The peloton got split into two groups while chasing the breakaway.
90 km to go: With the narrow roads the peloton gets split up again. It's now everyone for themselves as it seems. Tissot is well placed with Hofstetter, Pache and Tschopp in the chasing group.
60 km to go: The breakway has just 2:30 on the first chasing group that's closing the gap quite quickly.
45 km to go: The breakaway now is in the cobbled section, with the chasing group just a minute away it looks like they won't make it today.
30 km left: 28 seconds lead for the breakaway, the first chasing group has melted to just 23 riders, with 3 riders from Tissot it is looking good for the swiss team.
20 km to the line: Just two riders are up front now, but with the group chasing hard they will soon be caught. Hofstetter and Pache are still looking like they are in vergy good shape for todays finale.
10 km to go: two riders attack from the chasing group. Hofstetter reacts and ups his speed to chase them down. With Pache protecting him from the wind he can close tha gap.

8 km to go: The attacks keep on coming now. Hofstetter is still in it, keeping his pace high.
4 km to the finish line: Hofstetter is in front now. Pache who was helping him out very much in the last few km is powered out and so it's all on Hofstetter now. He manages to get a few meters ahead so the rest of the group will have to sprint to catch him.
2.5 km left: Hofstetter launches his sprint. It's all eyes on the finish line now...
Hofstetter comes in third again. Cardoso (EFG) and Sylvestre (LET) were just too fast in the last 100 meters.

GP du Canton d'Argovie
Welcome to switzerland!
Todays race has a special importance for team Tissot, as it's in their home country. The team will make sure to show a great result, bringing the best riders of the team into this one race.
Todays rider for Tissot are: Reichenbach, Fumeaux, Schelling, Hofstetter, Pache, Tschopp, Gross and Bierli.
Let's see how they'll do today.
The race started slow today, with many teams wanting to save energy for the final third of the race.
70 km to go: The pace starts to get higher, as the top teams start to make the pace and chase the breakaway.
45 km to the line: Tissot is still looking good with nearly the entire team up front. The breakaway of 3 still has a lead of 3 minutes but it is melting away quickly.
22 km to go: second last climb of the day. The favourites start to attack. It's Reichenbach who ups his pace to try and keep up.

16 km to go: Reichenbach is looking good, being in front of the peloton keeping up a quick pace. Pache is in it as well.
12 km to go: Reichenbach launches an attack trying to get away from the peloton. Hofstetter and Pache are still well placed in the peloton. It's still looking good for Tissot so far.
10 km left: Reichenbach gets caught by the peloton. The peloton is now just in front of the final climb. Who has the legs to get over this last hurdle the best?
7 km to go: Pache looks the freshes after the hump, and he starts to chase down Kessiakoff (AST) who attacked on the last climb. He's just a few seconds ahead. Reichenbach manages to catch his wheel as they gain a little advantage over the peloton. It's the final 5 km now...

Final km: the peloton sprints and manages to catch up with Pache and Reichenbach. Pache gets stuck and can't sprint right away, but he manages to get by and crosses he line as 8th. A good result for a hard race.

Flèche Ardennaise
Welcome to Belgium. Today's race is the start in the second part of the season, so let's see if Reichenbach and co. can continue their good results.
Right from the start a breakaway of total 16 riders formed. But the peloton didn't wanted to let them ride, so a hard chase began.
100 to go: The breakawa finally gets caught, andd right away a few riders try to escape again.
30 km left: 6 riders are in front of the peloton with a lead of just a little over 2 minutes. The peloton is riding at a fast pace and it's up to the two big climbs of todays race.
Reichenbach was riding by up until now, but if he wants to finish strong he'll have to show himself very soon. The question is to attack on the first or second climb...
And with that being said it looks like Reichenbach starts to up his pace. He quickly diminished their lead and many riders strugle to keep up his high pace.
15 km to go: The peloton, or rather what's left of the peloton, is now on the final climb of the day. Reichenbach strickes again. Still having 3 helper around him he looks to be in a good position.
12 km to go: Reichenbach reaches the former breakaway, and passes right by them. The peloton is struggling to follow his fast pace.

9 km: Attack by César Veloso (OFM), it's Reichenbach that follows. The two manage to create a small gap between them and the chasing riders.
5 km to the line: It's a group of 5 now at the front when César Veloso (OFM) attacks again. Reichenbach is waiting on the others to react. And it's Schumacher (CWO) who finally counter attacks.
2 km left: César Veloso (OFM) is in front, Reichenbach launches his sprint in the hope he might catch the guy from spain. But he's just too late, finishing as third.

I'm currently blaming my riders, but with Reichenbach it really should be possible to win a hilly or mountain stage. It's probably me who plays like crap in the finals, that's why I never quite make it.
Ah well, playing on hard really is hard

Why you're constantly crying about your team and winning? Your team is pretty strong for CT division, you should win, but you shouldn't be obsessed with that. Whenever i enter, i can see posts similar to the #134th one (above me) . You've chosen team, play with it.

I kind of fell like I should be winning more than I currently am. Specially because it's easy races where I participate, seeing that I can't win here makes me concerned about advancing to WT and being competitive there.
Just don't want the readers to be disapointed as it's not all victorys here. |

Boucles de la Mayenne - Stage 1
Bienvenue à France. Todys first stage is going to be a very short ITT.
Let's see how well Reichenbach will do today.
Today's goal was to not lose too much time for the GC.
And with Reichenbach losing 8 seconds the team was well on track for a good classement in this tour.

Boucles de la Mayenne - Stage 2
Welcome to the second stage.
Todays stage profile has an interesting finish. Maybe Reichenbach can try something here and tire out the sprinters. We'll have to see how the stage will go...
As usual right from the start a breakaway formed as they tried their luck to finish in front of the peloton. They quickly made up a lot of time, leading by over 10 minutes.
But with todays long stage the peloton was not too concerned about that lead, as they figured they'd catch them in the end.
Slowly but steadily their lead melted away as the peloton started to wheel them back in.
70 km to go: Tissot descides to lead the peloton now, upping the pace considerably. The breakaway is just over 4 minutes ahead, but with that pace they won't stand much chance to get trough.
40 km left: The peloton enters the last part of the race, with 4 small hills it's time for Reichenbach to set the pace.

20 km left: Reichenbach keeps the pace high, and the others in the peloton struggle to keep up with the swiss. Meanwhile the breakaway is less than a minute in front of the pack.
8 km to the finish: Reichenbach attacks, but he can't get away. He won't win today's race. Looks like he overestimated his strenght with that long tempo dictate...

I still following this story, not get bored, and not complaining about lack of Win up to now. Sure it would be great, especialy for you, and (most likely Seb - he is The best), but It is not necessarily. Just keep trying, and one day, one race, it came to you
I wasn't posting, becouse my laptop broke
This is still only one story (2013) I like (besides Comeback) - don't care about wins, It's about your team which is exactly my taste, and of coure, your style of writing
And for me It isn't fun to win almost every race with best riders on your team, I like that building plans for next seasons... how is it about money now? I heard there are no cash from race points, It must be tough as I remember 2012 verzion and there without this prize money I would go bankruptcy
Yep, thats me down here...
...The Wall.
