Jesleyh: Yes, they're doing very well here. But there aren't very many good riders here, what me surprised for a 2.HC race.
Jesleyh & maxime86: Yes, I know. But these reports are already kinda old (I always want to have some reports to upload when I don't have time to play), but from the moment I am now in the carreer I try to export the results and post them here. Sorry.

Les Boucles du Sud Ardèche - Souvenir Francis Delpech
Stage Preview
The second one-day race of us this year, after the successful Grand Prix la Marseillaise. This time we wanted such a good result, so we decided to attack with our main leader, just like we did in La Marseillaise. Only 105 riders started here today, so we had to ride a good result.
We got a breakaway of around seventeen riders. Because the breakaway was that big, the peloton didn’t give us much room, so we had no big lead. We were not very happy with that, because we knew that we couldn’t get a good result in this way. And of course, the peloton took the breakaway back, and before that moment all our other riders lost the contact to the peloton, so we only had Watson, our man who was in the breakaway.
Also Watson lost contact to the group, but he wanted to get back so he attacked. But he’ll never get to the group in front of him. Weening had attacked, but the group behind him got him in the sprint. Urtasun won, Weening finished third. Our best rider was Watson, at a decent seventeenth place.

Le Tour de Langkawi – Stage 4
Stage Preview
The first mountain stage of Le Tour de Langkawi. We wanted to have Burton in the breakaway, because he’s our best climber and in good shape. After many breakaways we got a breakaway of three riders. Burton was already getting tired of those many attacks.
We attacked with Freire too. We tried to get two man in the breakaway. We were already on the climb and Pinto, a rider who can climb and sprint, attacked. He came at Freire and they drove to the breakaway.
So we got a breakaway with five man. But Freire lost already contact before the second mountain sprint. At the last climb also Burton lost contact, so Pinto was alone. We tried to attack with Rogers, but during his attack he was held up so he lost time. Ovechkin attacked and got Pinto.
They drove to the finish together, where Ovechkin won the sprint. Rogers drove very well today and finished nineteenth. Now he’s standing at a very good tenth place in the general classification, only 1”16 behind Ovechkin. He’s also third in the youth classification, 16 seconds behind Olivier. Maybe we can win some time tomorrow. It would be great!

Le Tour de Langkawi – Stage 5
Stage Preview
And today was the fifth stage of Le Tour de Langkawi. It was not a very long stage, none of the stages here are long, and it ends with a climb of 22 kilometres. There were a lot of riders who wanted in the breakaway, so we already passed the first two intermediate sprints before we got a breakaway.
A breakaway of only three riders, with Freire of our team in it. When we started at the climb, there were already attacks from inside the peloton. During the climb Freire got it difficult, and when there were coming riders who attacked out of the peloton, he lost contact to the leading group. Also Burton attacked, and when Olivier attacked, Rogers went with him. But Olivier had already a gap and Rogers would never got him. Ovechkin, the race leader, let them go, took them back, but finished with a backlog.
Olivier won the stage and took the leader jersey. Burton finished before Rogers. Rogers went downside in the classification; he fell from place ten to place eighteen. Bad for us, but still a decent place. Now we hope we can do something in the next stages, which are all flat. So probably the classification is already decided.

And it's already March. Last month was not a very bad one, with the win in of the mountain classification in the Tour du Haut Var. But now it's a new month. We still have to finish Le Tour de Langkawi. While we race there, there's also an one-day race which most of us know: The Montepaschi Strade Bianche. I think that'll be the most difficult one of this month. We also start in the Netherlands, in the Ronde van Drenthe. Curious to see what we can do there. And the last race will be the Critérium International. Also a difficult race, and with one time-trial and one mountain stage not the best race for us, but we'll see what we can do.
March | 24/02 – 05/03 | Le Tour de Langkawi (10 stages) | Malaysia | 2.HC | 03/03 | Montepaschi Strade Bianche | Italy | 1.1 | 10/03 – 11/03 | Ronde van Drenthe (2 stages) | Netherlands | 2.1 | 24/03 – 26/03 | Critérium International (3 stages) | France | 2.HC |

Le Tour de Langkawi – Stage 6
Stage Preview
The sixth stage of Le Tour de Langkawi. There were a lot of attacks at the start of the race, so it took a while to get a breakaway.
We got a breakaway with four and already early it seemed that these guys would fight for the win. We had Webb in the breakaway, but when Klostergaard attacked 38 kilometres before the finish, he had to let them go. That’s the moment when we decided to attack with Sobczyk, but he had only two minutes when the peloton started chasing. They caught Sobczyk, and even more worse, they took Webb four kilometres before the finish, while the other three were fighting for the win.
Klostergaard was the strongest of the breakaway today. Our riders finished in the peloton. A fall of the number three in the final kilometres, Ian Bibby, ensured that Rogers went up from eighteen to seventeen in the general classification.

welker3257: I hope too. But it'll be very difficult with our 'bad' team.
Ian Butler: Yeah. Webb also doesn't have the talent which for example Watson and Rogers.

Le Tour de Langkawi – Stage 7
Stage Preview
The seventh stage was a flat stage, with three intermediate sprints. There were a lot of teams who wanted in the breakaway. First we tried to get in there with Hill. He took second place in the first intermediate sprint, but after that the breakaway got caught. The second time was it Rodrigues who was in the breakaway. He won the second intermediate sprint.
But already at sixty kilometres before the finish, riders of the breakaway attacked. The first time they got caught, but the second time were two riders who stayed at the front. After that, the race was completely disordered. There were a lot of attacks of the peloton, and one rider got the two riders at the front. There were a lot of groups with cyclists between the leading group and the peloton.
It was interesting when race leader Olivier attacked, as a counter of the number seventeenth Rogers. But they were also caught.
Only the first three riders stayed ahead of the peloton. Gérard won the stage, while the peloton was sprinting for place four. Our riders finished in the middle of the peloton.

welker3257: Yes. The peloton was close today, but the breakaway won. A bit strange that not every day is a mass sprint, but it's nice to see that the breakaway stay till the finish. Too bad none of our riders was there at the right moment.

Le Tour de Langkawi – Stage 8
Stage Preview
The eighth stage of Le Tour du Langkawi. Of course we wanted to be in the breakaway, so we tried it.
Hill attacked, and after a few tries we got a breakaway of ten cyclists. Hill won the first and the second intermediate sprint. With hundred kilometres to go, the lead was thirteen minutes, so we all knew that this ten riders would race for the win. So, of course, riders attacked at fifteen kilometres before the finish. Hill was with the first group of four, but he couldn’t follow the pace, so he lost contact and the second group caught him. Because he had already used a lot of energy, we were sure that we got the tenth place.
But at the front we had two riders, sprinting for the win.
It was very close, but Grivell-Mellor won. And of course, Hill finished at a tenth place. We’re satisfied with that, because it was almost not possible to get a higher position. And we have also important news: the peloton broke in the final part of the race, so our riders raised in the classification: Rogers takes fourteenth place now, and Burton in eighteenth place. Still two stages to go, so we hope that we’re in a breakaway which hold on till the finish.

Montepaschi Strade Bianche
Stage Preview
Today was not only Le Tour de Langkawi, but also the Montepaschi Strade Bianche. Maybe is this race too big for a small team as us, but it was an objective of the sponsor. And after refusing starting in other objective races of the sponsor, we had to start here. Already at the start there were a few riders who fell, and there were many who followed them later in the race.
Of course we had a rider in the breakaway. Watson was one of the three riders at the front. They had a gap of six minutes, when a rider of the peloton attacked. His name was Pasqualon and he got the breakaway. The other riders were having it very difficult to follow his pace.
Watson was the last rider who could follow his tempo. But, with ten kilometres to go, Pasqualon left him behind. Watson was still driving in second place, but a group caught him and he lost them in the last two kilometres.
But the chasing group was too late, so we got Pasqualon as surprising winner of this year’s Montepaschi Strade Bianche. Watson drove, in between all the big teams and cyclists, a great race and finished sixteenth! So a great result for us. We’re very happy with this result in a race with a lot of good riders. Watson is already doing great this year, and we think he can make a lot of progression. Oh, yes, we had also five other riders at the start of this race, but they were in bad shape so they finished somewhere. But it was a great day for us today!
