Here goes Carlos Bentecur. Could be a surprising winner. |

Valverde, Hesjedal, Scarponi, Martin, Purito
So, Hesjedal drives it for Martin now and the break stays away

Gilbert tries to bridge the gap to the front group. It seems Valverde looks strong as does Rodriguez and Dan Martin all of them in good form. |

Scarponi improving on his past couple of weeks by much... but no speed to capitalize on it, i think. |

Martin working for Hesjedal who's already spent himself in a long attack? Seriously?
Who's the Garmin DS here?

Actually the Portuguese commentators say it's the reverse. |

Betancur and Scarponi can sorta sprint. Martin cannot at all. Not even close.
Valverde vs RodrÃguez or did I forget someone else in the group?

Martin was on the front when I posted that, Hesjedal was at the back drinking and recovering. Now he's gone to the front.

looking really good for Valverde. Hesjedal with a lot of responsability after what he did, though, let's see if he has enough to make them stay away. think so

That's the whole group assuming Hesjedal is 100% dead.

Between Valverde and Rodriguez my favorite is the Movistar cyclist however the other group is still close and an attack from behind could still catch them on the last climb. |
