Well done by Spilak, actually gaining a spot on the mountain stage. Very nice to see our team try to do a lead out for Vanoverschelde, eventhough it kind of failed. We're still looking for that Pro Tour win, and it looks like it'll take quite some time to get it, if we get it
Congratulations to Festina for a brilliant overall win by Contador, and to Red Bull, for outsprinting Guerao on the final stage.

Indeed, too late on the attack - but crucially taking 2nd ahead of Amador to at least take a podium spot. Lucrative race for Festina, and this might not be the only big Spanish race that Contador could win this year.
Ohh. I wonder if this means that Madrazo isn't racing the Vuelta this season? Cause if he is Contador stands no chance
I refuse to confirm or deny anything.
Apart from the fact that I might be regretting missing out on the Tenorio Contador swap.
That would have included some money though?
We hadn't worked it out, but I had the spare cash and the cap space to do it.
Yeah, and I would have been willing to put money on top of Contador for the swap
Quite happy with 5th for Valverde in this strong field, as I feared he could loose a lot of time on the Queen stage. Meyer was also active in the sprints, which was nice.
And Pauwels sharing King of the Mountains! Although not sure if the point for the KOM will be shared, or if Pauwels will be awarded 2nd place due to not winning a HC climb?
I don't recall that many sprint train Red Bull wins, in fact very rare to see a Red Bull sprint train!
Fantastic to see Van Stay just squeak that one over Guerao, he'll be at the Vuelta also though if we set up a sprint train it may not be quite as potent. That said Sulzberger is showing some good sprint legs in Paris Nice and he'll be there.
I'm pleased with this stage race, Sella and Van Stayen led the team well and some decent riding all round from SRB. I like the winner too, won by attacking on the queen stage.

Ranking points are always shared in the KoM and Points competition when their is a tie
Really nice to see Forero actually fighting for a win! Hir first real sprint after a season of doing absolutely nothing, great! Henao not good enough, he has to improve his performances in next races..
