Remember the overrated CM01/02 players?
Youssouf Hersi, Richard Knopper and Cedric van der Gun were absolute heroes for the Dutch and in real life Knopper now plays for ADO Den Haag in 1st division, and I don't even know where the feck Hersi and Van der Gun play nowadays
Or what about Tieme Klompe, Ruud Kras, Andy Van der Meyde...all predicted legends, never made it irl
Hersi is sitting nicely on the bench in Twente while VD Gun is always injured in Utrecht lol

speaking of being screwed: Almeida is injured and his replacement will be Gomes. even worse, Gomes will be captain

is it just me or Portugal, with such great players in the midfield, should have qualified long ago? |

midfield does not equal a whole team
our defense is much better by the way

England will get a point from Croatia tonight. It's impossible for them not to. They may not win but a point is pretty certain, and the Croatia boss has said that he wants England to go through with them
If England don't get a point tonight, all the staff (playing and coaching) should be sacked and we should bring in the York City staff

because i'm not English and it would be fun to see them not making it through to the Finals, otherwise the papers will start printing the normal rubbish this is England's best chance since 1966 to win a major tournament, this group of players are all super talented etc etc etc etc |

however England will probably qualify just like Italy, Portugal etc
and btw the Wembley field seems to be terrible mainly because of the NFL match that took place a few weeks ago and the rain...
