Nearing the last leg of the season, I have decided to work on a report for all the races. As you may notice, there are several reports missing, so I hope to cover every race in this post. I'd like to update the victory and podiums list as well.

Rodas surprised the favourites and won the last stage to claim 2nd overall - completing our official goal of a top 5 result.

We had some ups and downs in this tour. Lutsenko took the opening stage and Rodas seemed very promising podiuming on the first mountain stage. Unfortunately, he crashed and lost time and hope for a good placing overall. Ihlenfeldt at least compromised with an unexpected ride.

[img-l]https://i1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh579/aidanvn13/Romania_zps865ed1bb.png[/img-l] Turul Romaniei A race with a prologue, 7 flat stages and 1 mountain stage. Abdallah was very consistent with 4 top 10 finishes, but never managed anything extravagant. Rodas rode valiantly on the mountain stage; however, he couldn't beat a super strong Marzano, but finished an excellent 2nd on the stage and on GC. Ihlenfeldt also snuck into the top 10 on the stage even though he worked for Rodas on the climb and finished in 14th overall.

[img-l]https://i1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh579/aidanvn13/SouthAfrica_zps0983735e.png[/img-l] Giro del Capo A home race for us and although it wasn't a goal race we wanted to put on a show. And that's exactly what we did! Day sprinted excellently and narrowly missed out on a stage win. Ngue rode like a champion against some of the division's best and finished 4th on the first hilly stage and which was the GC position he maintained on the mountain TT. However, on the last stage he broke away and rode like a madman to win the stage, but narrowly missed out on winning the yellow jersey and had to settle for white.

Abdallah didn't perform much on the flat stages, but at least Lemus took his chances in the breaks and almost won a stage when the break stayed away (2nd place on stage 4). Rodas had a horrible tour after losing over 4 minutes on a flat stage and would've finished in the top 10 overall. It wasn't all doom and gloom: he finished 9th on the mountain stage against strong C1 competition.

On the 2nd stage Ihlenfeldt attacked from far out with 2 other riders and dropped them both on the decent, putting his descending skills to good use.
