It seems they want Cav to win the green, because there are too many stages for him, i would like more for Sagan though.

Likes
-All on French soil, the way the 100th TDF should be.
-Alpe D'Huez and Ventoux are key mountains in the route, which are my favourites.
-TTT
-Finishes in Paris like normal, luckily some of the rumours were false.
-Saint Malo and Mont St. Michel visited during the race, awesome!
Do-not-cares
-The small amount of ITT kilometers. It's fun to see the Wiggins fans upset though.
-Lack of epic Pyrenees mountains. I like the Alps better anyway.
Dislikes
-No cobbles in the route, would've been fun.
So yeah, I'm pleased

According to Dutch NOS Teletext the Paris stage is at night, and there will be fireworks. |

I can't seem to find the stage profiles, anyone finds them?
The Mont-Ventoux stage will be tough, I think. I don't know if they'll climb much before starting it, but with a prior 240km it's going to be tough! |

Thanks.
To be honest, on the first view, they look a bit disappointing.. |

Its so flat that if there was another ITT in there you'd say they wanted Sparticus to win. |

Crap route. Really disappointed.
Too few timetrial kilometers, and too few hard mountain stages. Oh wait, we get a hundred "fun" flat stages instead!
The only road stages I can see major gaps appearing are Alpe d'Huez and Ventoux. Possibly also Le Grand Bornand, if they race it hard from the beginning. Ax-3-Domaines and Semnoz aren't hard enough, as they're all about one climb / one climb plus a too short final ascent.
The Bigorre stage could be fun, but I'll be very surprised if any of the big names risk attacking on the final climb, because of the ridiculously long descent afterwards. I reckon it'll be similar to the Foix / Mur de Peguere stage this year.

To be fair, Ax-3-Domaines has Pailhères before, although it lacks more climbs, it could be enough to see some racing there. And Semnoz is a quite hard, the problem is that the stage is so horribly designed it's not even funny.

Hence the "one climb plus a too short final ascent." With the "one climb" being Pailheres. I doubt anyone of the favourites has the guts to try already on Pailheres. At least they didn't when they climbed it two years ago.
And indeed, Semnoz is hard. My point was, as you said, that the stage is overall too easy. There should've been another major climb just before the final one.

I doubt it as well, mainly because it's the first mountain stage. But you can't really blame the organization for the lack of guts of the riders. In that stage, the terrain is there, I hope we could say the same of the stages to Semnoz or Le Grand-Bornand...

The route may not be too promising, let's wait for a judgement until the race really starts, riders can make boring routes very interesting sometimes |

Maybe they are trying to make it as unattractive as possible to Contator in hope he doesnt show? I can imagine after the last month they would be quite keen to have a clean winner of thhe tour next yeear. |

Well, there is one positive thing. Wiggins wont defend his title.
Apart from that, I'm just very disappointed.

You're only partly right.
Wiggins will be back in Tour and so ''defend his title'' but will work for Froome.
Wiggins is doing Giro - Tour, while he leads Giro and supports Froome at Tour obviously.

I actually liethis route, but Iam biased because the passright next to my grnd parennts beach house thing. However I'm really happy that there will be a lot of cimbs, also the TTT could make or break a rider's chances which makes the aspect of the route very interesting |

My point was that he wont win again, as he wont be leading Sky.

Although, seeing how everyone is saying there wont be any gaps in the mountains cos they arent hard enough, surely thhat leaves TT as tthe only place to create a gap, which kinda leads to wiggo .... |
