Bit the same here, nobody used internet when I was 13. First time I had it was mid-1999, and from there until mid 2005 we only had a 56k modem connection. Of course at university I had a broadband connection, but I wouldn't get it at home before the mid-2000's.

Don't worry, you'll probably feel the same as we do when you'll be our age and guys who'll be 13 will be using recent technologies as if they always had been.
IIRC, not having internet was no big deal at the time, we just had more local hobbies and culture and seldom got to chat with foreigners.

Two of Europe's finer places. If you ever get to travel on the other side of the pond, young Maxime, try to make it to Prague and Bratislava. One shouldn't stay in California forever.
It was eleven more than necessary.

It was no big deal at all ! But to be honest I REALLY enjoy talking and getting to know people from all over the world, like here on pcm daily, even without travelling everywhere. |

I think it's very educational, too. To think what I would've missed learning and experiencing if I haven't had internet.
I wouldn't be very good at English, for example |

Same here, but let's be frank, we're all people from the Western world, or "the North". |
