Thanks Sutty! It was sad, I thought I could win, and then when one guy passed I thought maybe 2nd place, and then eventually everyone passed him

Tour Mediterraneen Stage 2
After yesterdays strong showing by Salerno, I think we have the same strategy today! I dont know if Salerno will have the strength to go on the attack again, but there are a lot of KoM points up for grabs today, so someone wanting to win, will probably want to take a stab at it today!
On the first climb of the day, only 8km in, Salerno got on the attack and took the few points up for offer! But after that, the peloton made it clear they wanted to bring him back, so he gave up and returned to the peloton.
By the time we reached the 2nd climb, two new riders were on the attack! This time it was David Boily and Rovira, who went for the two higher categorised climbs and will thus gain more points!
The 2nd KoM sprint of the day, saw Boily win the sprint, looking back almost to say "that's all you got". But there is still one more to go.
And in the 3rd KoM sprint of the day, Rovira was able to exact revenge on Boily and moved into 2nd overall in the KoM classification.
The end of the KoM points on the course basically meant end of the day for Boily and Rovira who both soft pedalled until they returned to the peloton!
AG2R pulled out a great sprint train and were clearly working for their man Ravard! Boivin was trying to get on his wheel but was squeezed out and lost a lot of spots. I kept pedalling hard in case he returned to the front, williand and ready to give a lead-out if needed!
But Boivin was nowhere to be seen, so I went in order to try and get a decent finish for the team! I was never going to catch Ravard, who won the stage, but I took a top 10, something I can be happy about!

Thanks a lot guys! I was surprised when David did so well there!
I had a bit of a hectic day, but I was able to produce, imo, a pretty good looking signature honouring my favourite cyclist and newest GT winner. And watch out for new images added to the gif avatar too
Hesjedal winning the Tour is just great!
I enjoy making graphics, I might make a workshop, tutorials, gallery type of thing in the summer when I have more time

Thanks!
And you should have no worries, CountArach! I love that one, so I dont think I'll ever get rid of it
And I dont think I can get a report out tonight, as I have a very important pre-exam test tomorrow, but we'll see.

David did well to get that 6th place, replacing Boivin. And I'm sorry to say that Hesjedal's throne as Canadian Legend will hardly be replaced. |

Tour Mediterraneen Stage 3
Today we have another sprinters stage! There are a few climbs, but they are in the first half of the stage, so I bet it will go to a sprint anyway! I dont know what my plan is exactly, but I will just sit quiet in the peloton and cheer Boily or Salerno on, in hope that they get the KoM jersey! Boivin has a shot if it goes to a sprint too, but the climbs could tire him.
The day began with a small break getting clear! Boily was able to sneak in to the break again, which will help him in his ultimate goal to collect as many KoM points as possible. No other threats are in the break either!
On the 2nd KoM sprint, Boily was not able to collect maximum points, but at this point he's got the virtual lead anyway, so these points are just a cushion to 2nd place!
The break tried to get clear, but they were swept up late in the stage! The sprint teams prepared but Spidertech wasn't able to set a sprint train prepared, so Boivin had to start his sprint from very far behind. A top 10 would be his best bet. Once again a muck up from the sprint train, I think our directors will want to go over us about this, because this needs to be fixed!
Ravard gets yet another stage win here! He will be making a huge jump in the CT rankings no doubt! Boivin was able to pull off an 11th place, so he is showing his form isn't too bad!

Thanks a lot sutty! I think at this point a Top 10 would be a decent target!
Teddy, Thanks! Rovira can still snatch it back, so Boily must be careful.....
Freitas, Thank you!

Tour Mediterraneen Stage 4
Today's stage has a small hill at the finish! I would like to be up with the leaders here, but I still dont know how my legs feel 150km into a stage going uphill. I want to say I can do well, but I dont know! The team are riding for my GC place today. Boily and Salerno are allowed to ride freely, as one has the team goal, and the other is in a better overall spot than I am!
About halfway through the stage, the breakaway forms! While the camera's weren't on, Rovira was able to sneak in 10 KoM points reducing his deficit to 10 on Boily.
With 15km to go, Steve Morabito of Bretagne tries a move on his breakaway companions! It looks like a very solid move!
Now as we reach the finish town and come to the descent just before the road kicks up, me and Lucas Euser move to the front of the peloton to put on the pressure! The break have this one, all but wrapped up, but time gaps can still be made for the overall leaders in our group!
Nathan Haas takes it in a sprint for United Healthcare! What a great result for them again! And Jones his teammate finishes 2nd. The team directors in that car will be ecstatic!
And about 2 minutes later our group crosses the line! I manage to finish pretty high up in the sprint and reduce any possible time gaps from forming between me and the winner of the peloton sprint!
