I spoke with Breschel today, and while he didn't want to say anything regarding his future contract, he did say he felt confident of riding in 2013 Wasn't something to worry about, he said.
Did you talk to him face-to-face, or over the phone?
Just interested
And yes, Betancourt would probably go to Liquigas. Him and Sarmiento together.

Dream on Mike, dream on
I'm dreaming the same
Though, it won't happen, unless Riis pulls something magnificent out of his pockets, as the rich, Norwegian companies/persons don't seem too happy about cycling, due to "all" the doping, and having the leading sponsorman on other sports in Norway saying "cycling is dangerous to sponsor, simply because there's so much doping," doesn't help. Then add that neither Hagen or Hushovd are available, and it'll definitely not happen.
But it would be absolutely epic if Riis suddenly decided to completely focus on Scandinavia, can't you try to give him the idea, CrueTrue, in a longer conversation/interview with him? |

Most definitely, JTL was a cert from Match onwards. Scott Thwaites is another good bet to sign for Sky next year too.

Sky is just buying too many young talents, IMO.
Kennaugh, Rowe, Dowsett, Puccio, Appollonio, Uran, Henao, EBH, Stannard, Swift, Thomas. I know JTL isn't a young rider, but still, Sky's got like half of the future stars!

Really good signing. He had some very strong Ardennes results.

I know jt1109 I just pointed out he's a good bet to sign to Sky at some point this year None of the British 100% Me are good enough yet for Sky yet.
I agree with Serry, had great year so far, looks like a great talent. OPQS also has similar 'youth base' as Sky had in Italy so expect them to sign some more talented Belgian kids later too.

Sorry no specifics were given. Hope this info helps you a bit though.
Following the success of its ‘Talent Training Camp’ in the past season, Team Omega Pharma-QuickStep has set up a three-day camp specially focussing the under 23 and junior cyclists.
A total number of sixteen athletes have been invited from different parts of the world including Norway, Denmark, Italy, Algeria, Australia, Belgium and The Netherlands.

Daniel and Markus Hoelgaard were the two from Norway on their training camp. Other named riders reported to have been on the training camp: Yves Lampaert (BEL), Mads Würtz Schmidt (DEN), Jay McCarthy (AUS) and Sean De Bie (BEL). |

Ah thank you ember. Sean De Bie deserves a professional contract next year (and probably should be a stagiare at the end of this year somewhere - he is such a magnificent rider.

Unfortunately, I doubt De Bie will ride as a stagiare for OPQS this year/contracted to their elite team in 2013. It was said that to the riders on the training camp that OPQS were mainly thinking of adding some of them to their U23 team, let them ride a couple of years there, and then join their elite team. But it will definitely be interesting to see what they're going to do/offer some of those they had on the training camp, there's no doubt they had some of the worlds biggest talents there.

A guy from my local cycling club got invited to that, it was in the newspaper about a week ago.

Good news about Serry getting a shot in PT, he'll do well.
Sky's becoming one hell of a team to fear! |
