It explains the odd performances of Euskaltel, that's for sure.

Watching this race for 3 hours, take 1 bathroom break and miss the highlight. But at least the vid is up at sporza as well.
Great race it was though, exciting all the way to the finish and only for the toughest of riders after 236 km.

same here. If Tommeke wins at 2012 such a fair sprints against Hagen, Goss, Freire, EBH, Breschel..Then wow!
Tom having a great-super year. Cancellara should try again a some stupid tactic to beat him at cobble classics. |

Boonen has a super year indeed, but if he fail at both Ronde and Roubaix it's not a great year for him anymore. I think he really has a chance of winning both this season.

Boonen seems to be very strong this year, but winning E3 and G-W will make him top favorite for Ronde and Roubaix, therefore he might face the same problem as Cancellara last year. |

On the other hand he was also top favourite in these two races after his spring performances.
Plus the big advantage that his team is by far stronger than Leopard last year (Terpstra, Chavanel...) and he can win a sprint. He doesn`t need to gap the rest like Cancellara. |

On the other hand i think Fabian Cancellaras team is stroner this year than it was last year. Still think Fabian is the strongest one on sunday, but lets see... He was last year as well, but he couldnt stay in front, so who says he can on sunday. |

Completely different race as well I think. The hills are harder and more concentrated towards the end now.

Nice race and fantastic Boonen, now it should be great battles with Spartacus at RvV and Roubaix.
Also great 2nd for Sagan, anybody still doubting his cobble skill?

Yeah, good point, he will not probably be anywhere near the top at the next week monuments, but i see this as the promise for the future
In the end he has everything to do well on cobbles, just needs to get better in tactics. He is also giving big credit to Oss on his web, saying he did great job in the last kilometres...
It will be interesting to see Sagan at De Panne this week, he could grab some stage there.

Oss is a solid helper for Sagan. A top duo for the future there. |
