What a shitty weather.
It's end if July ffs.
This is the only weekend in the year we need sunshine here, Hockenheim F1 plus the biggest for-free festival in Europe (400.000 people over 3 days), and it's raining cats and dogs.
Coming to the quali: Rosberg out in Q2, the rest was lucky to make it through, as it was practically the first lap that decided the positions.

Vettel gets time penalty for overtaking Button out of track and gets relegated to 5th.
For fucks sake, should he rather have stayed on track and crashed into Button than avoiding him without getting a measurable advantage in time or speed?
So that basically was a situation where Vettel wasn't able to get out of without loosing -.-
Seriously, FIA stewards?

He should have let Button overtake him again after that. The rules are clear and the penalty is deserved.

Did he get an unfair advantage with that? I think not.
(I might be pretty nationalistic here, add a horrible weekend, well... )

I think he did, he overtook Button outside the track, which isn't allowed. Red Bull fucked that up seriously, had Vettel let Button overtake him again, not only he'd have finished 3rd, but he even would have had the chance to overtake Button in the last lap.

Yep, exactly. I think the rules are quite clear, though in the present case Button (purposedly) didn't give Vettel much of a choice, so the penalty is deserved. |

At least Vettel took the time penalty and no complaints from him, nice |
