As predicted Svein Tuft destroys the field in Canadian TT. Meier was 2 minutes down in 2nd place, and Hugo Houle almost 3 minutes down on 3rd.

No surprise in Slovakia where Velits brothers take 1-2, but Barta upsets OPQS two riders to take Czech ITT title.
Czech ITT
1. Jan Barta ( Netapp )
2. Zdenek Stybar ( OPQS )
3. Rabon ( OPQS )
Actually Barta finished second in the mixed results, between the Velits brothers. And even more, Barta could probably won that whole race, he was fastest at the check, but he had technical problem with fallen chain and needed to settle it back. It could have been those 12 seconds.
Sagan should be the biggest favourite on Sunday, but he says his biggest wish is to see his brother Juraj winning.

in 2010 when he got second, he neither had a good season, so maybe we can expect something from him in the tour |

Went out and rode the British National Championship course last weekend across at Ampleforth. Quite hilly really and I don't expect it to be a sprint finish. If JTL is in shape it could be his, but I think it may come down to a small group and whoever has the best sprint out of them.
Regardless, I'm going over to watch it. Should be good |

Martin's average speed was 51.54 km/h, for those interested. Grabsch was 1:26 off.
8th doesn't bode well for Gretsch, whom I had as a possible Top10 for the prologue.

Thanks for the additional info. I thought gretsch could do better as well. He was a lot better last year - Martin's average sounds just amazing when i think about how fast i can ride compared to that
