In my eyes Cadel can do whatever he wants. He is a tour winner, if he doesn't want his team's priorities split then he gets 8 guys who will throw themselves on the fire for him.
With the amount of money Hushovd is being paid, he will have no room to whine, and hopefully BMC included a "no bitching" clause in his contract.

Well, now Cadel is tweeting that he definitely wants Thor on his tour team, so I guess that's the end of that.
Quote from @CadelOfficial: Checking the news..... I so want Thor #godofthunder on our Tour team next year.... Why do people say otherwise? |

Pozzato had to go to the hospital after falling down the stairs in his house. He got a light concussion and 8 stitches. |

In terms of Evans and Hushovd, could anyone name 8 BMC riders who would be more useful to Evans than Hushovd?
BMC's support structure is more classics style riders than top mountain support anyway, and Im sure Thor would have freedom on the less important stages.

After his success in le Tour de l'Ain, David Moncoutié said there's 70% of chances that he'll ride one more season. |

didn't he get a top 5 in a mountain stage of the tour?
that just proves he's a beast. |

Yes he did - the "hard" mountain stage Hushovd won.

Landis just wants to make a name for himself, now that he's discrased and forgotted. People will forget about him (that is, the general public and minor sporting fans, rather then cycling fans like us) unless he makes a name for himself being outspoken.

Seems like he wants to build himself up into some form for his WC defence, but I'd say there's a fine line between that and just wearing yourself out.

Hushovd wanted to ride the Vuelta. He's worried he won't get enough racing ahead of worlds.
