I would appreciate if they could speed up a bit in the pack now. 7 minutes will take some time to gain on the breakaway.
On a climb it goes quite quickly actually.
I know, but what team will take responsibility? I don't think Europcar is gonna bring back the breakaway with Charteau sitting in it.
Leopard more than likely

On the final climb, yes. But if they still have 6-7 minutes when they start the climb they have a good chance to make it all the way.

Delage - Millar - Bouet. So Delage winning all intermediates so far today.
Delage does seem a bit greedy in the race Been in a few breaks, seems to win most of the sprints!
He'll struggle to win any more though, doesnt look like the other 21 are getting back to Millar, Casar and El Fares anytime soon

I hope peloton will get going soon.. More fun if the favorites fights for the stage victory IMO |

Agreed. Europcar should be getting a bit worried for Casar now. He's virtually the new leader of the Tour.

They're gonna let Casar take so much time he takes the stage win on the Plateau. (and thus win the tour) I didn't expect this big a gap tbh.

So.. at what KM will Leopard be leaving Andy and Frank on their own?

Riblon back at the front of the race.
Edit; Millar has to drop a bit.

Ah, but they already planned for that! See Voigt and Gerdemann cruising around up front, waiting.

Smart by Europcar, although it'd have been better for them to have Charteau with Casar.
If the favourites reach the bottom of the Plateau de Beille too far behind the break, they won't stand a chance to win the stage, so they'll attack later, only for time, which should favour Voeckler (not that I can see him keeping his jersey today, but that must be how they're playing it). |

If Gilbert had any vague GC hopes, they seem to be over now

Indeed. Everything else would have been a surprise imo. Flat route plus one final mountain is okay for him, everything else just too hard. |

Sean Kelly is putting it partially down to GT inexperience.
He's a great classics rider, but when it comes to Grand Tours, he's not experienced at all.

Still 6 LEO in the peloton leading. So just O`Grady or Posthuma are back. Really strong team. |

Cavendish is apparently 1 minute 32 off the peloton.
