That was clear. Petacchi, Hushovd, Hagen are in the group. Cavendish doesn't like that |

Hagen and Petacchi are nowhere in Points Classification. Hushovd is a threat but still no point going into break not doing anything.

This is a dream break for Moncoutie. He will tear them apart on Aubisque
I wouldn't count on it. Gusev was 23rd yesterday, 5 places better than Moncoutie. Fofonov, Tjallingi, Pineau and Bak are not bad climbers either.
Gusev used to be a good climber too back when he was in Discovery but as i far i'm concerned he wasn't clean so was Fofonov. Tjalingii and Bak immense time-trialists may have a chance on descents (Paris-Roubaix dejavu btw.) Pineau a fighter but it might be too steep for him today. Moncoutie is clearly the best climber here. Gusev Bak and Tjalingii and Thor? may join on the descent.
You forgot Hagen, how could you?
Oh sh*t runs away |

After the sprint he can start working for the stage win. I highly doubt he'll wheelsuck all the way to Lourdes.

Really great sprint from Movistar there. Nothing to cry over, Cav. |

I don't understand why Thor didn't sprint. I know he's far at the classification and he's doing a lead out job for Farrar but 20 points are alot of points. |

Hushovd has passed too many opportunities for points to start caring about them now...

Cav got slightly squeezed at the beggining by Rojas but not a big deal |

Movistar copy the HTC tactic, squeezed Cav a little more than HTC did to them though, but there shouldnt be any DQs there. (HTC just kept in a straight line when they did it, Rojas went to the right of the HTC leadout and then moved over)
Gilbert randomly early tho! Then a long discussion with the commissaires car?
And Hushovd is clever. Right now he is ~100 points down and no Green jersey threat. If he starts going for that, his chances of getting in a break are notably reduced

But do you think he's got a shot at the stage? BH and Moncutie are bad company.
BTW Petacchi took a 3 week holiday? No real chances at the sprints and watching him there sounds like a joke.
