I would be surprised if Cavendish doesn't win today. There is hardly any stage that is easier than this one, plus he looked good in the TTT yesterday.

Bad news as I am going back home after the stage. If they are that slow I will miss the finish. |

Sebastian Lang is in a solo breakaway. What an awful day to go solo from km 8 on |

I thought Farrar would be in with a chance given the longer distance but if everyone is holding off a bit then I guess it will be Cavendish. I've got a dollar on Hunter winning thorugh with 126:1 odds so i really hope he somehow pulls it out of the bag...

If Cavendish gets Top 3 today (which he probably should) then Cavendish will take it. Otherwise not too many other people can do anything about it, unless McEwen wins the stage and Cavendish doesn't place.

He keeps it if no HTC or Radioshack rider gets bonus seconds.
The favourites is the main sprinters: Cavendish, Farrar, Petacchi etc.
Edit: Too slow.

Isnt it a case of, if a Radioshack rider doesnt get enough bonus seconds, then the first to finish of Pinotti, Bak, Siutsou, Cavendish and Lewis will take it - working on aggregate stage positions.
Its just very likely to be Cav

I forgot that. That's how it is. This is served on a silver plate for Cavendish.

do you think that a breakway could make it to the end?that little hill at 30 km to go could make any difference or is going to be a mass sprint? |

Farrar will fail.. once again, while Petacchi and Cavendish will fight it out at the last metres. My guess is that Petacchi wins it ahead of Cavendish and Chicchi. |

I think the chances for a breakaway to stay clear are very small. This is one of the few stages for the sprinters, so HTC and Garmin will be working hard to make this end in a mass sprint.
The hill is way too small to prevent a mass sprint. This stage will end in a mass sprint.

I just wonder: do you think that Contador has been scared after the doping scandal that he does not dare to dope anymore? |

I know victory is gaurenteed for Cavendish or Pettachi, but i'm going for an outsider Ciolek. See if he has what it takes.

Lang is probably the only rider in the Giro who is bored to tears at the moment! |

Please. For the sake of everyone's health. No clinic references until we hit the mountains. |
