In a last minute twist according to a friend of mine David Millar has offered Luke Rowe a place on Garmin - Cervelo next season with the objective of tutoring him apparently Millar is impressed with his work ethic and wants Rowe to learn from him
Not sure how reliable this maybe someone more in the know can shed more light on the story:/ |

Really doubt it. It was quiet rumoured that he pre-sgin contract with Sky for 2012. And Sky let him go to GB 100% ME to learn and experience. |

A transfer Im hoping for, but have more reason to believe its a possibility now. Ian Bibby --> Team Sky
During Brit national champs, a Rapha Condor related person tweeted "3 sky lead. House tried to cover when it split. Bibby wouldn't/couldn't assist."
Then after the race, Rapha condor tweets "Apologies from Kristian House to all on finish straight today. Very frustrated with tactics of another domestic based rider. #sorry"
That other domestic rider can only be Bibby, so perhaps Bibby didnt help, because he knows who is paying him next season?
I am not sure, but it might have be Alex Dowsett. He gave his apology to other riders in the break for unsportmanship behaviour saying he was doing it for the team. He said it via twitter, you might wanna check it.
Link to House's twitter, cant seem to find it?
And yes, Dowsett is not domestic based. Bibby is.
Yea, stupid me. Would be very intresting signing, along almost confirmed Luke Rowe. Add to that Henao, Sky is doing good job making young squad for the future.
Watching the race on ITV 4 now and it was definitely Bibby - House really pissed at him

Picked this up from the Inner Ring's Twitter feed: "Tony Martin could be going to Radioshack or Astana says @Velochrono24h. I've heard Rabo too" |

Astana wouldn't be that bad. He'd be no2 after Kreuziger and also have quite decent squad to support. Plus he doesn't have to be in a lead out train.

I think he will never be top GT rider, they are different types with Kreuziger, so they should be good teammates imo. Kreuziger for GT's and Martin for week-long races and time-trials and the other GT's in the season.

This may be a silly question but who of the important/good/interesting riders are out of contract this year and have not already resigned?
I'm asking because it seems so very quiet this year. I only seem to hear about Hushovd - whom I am hoping for on Saxo so he can win his P-R |

https://www.sporten.dk/cykling/klar-me...is-indkoeb danish article that says Saxo Bank is ready with extra millions if Riis finds the right rider(s).
I think Riis will sign with a least one big rider. |

The problem is, though, that there's no sponsor guarantee for more than 1 season.
For example, Gilbert wants a team that can guarantee him a contract of at least three seasons. |

They have AC, so they don't really need another top rider in the team.

that being said I thought CAS could not be appealed (sort of like a supreme court) - unless you go to a civil court in which case his ban will be upheld until proven otherwise. |

If you were a bank, and you had to decide whether to renew your sponsorship of a cycling team or not, and that cycling team had only one top rider, being that rider accused of doping and having a CAS hearing in a couple of months, wold you accept to renew the sponsorship if you weren't pretty certain that your rider will win the appeal?

Aqua: As tsj mentioned, I'm pretty sure you can't counter-appeal CAS. You can try, but you will be suspended while trying
Kumazan: And how would two bank directors know the outcome of the CAS case? They are confident, yes, based on what Riis has told them, but is he a reliable source? |

Dunno. But banks always win.
