Good one there from Summerhill - nicely done to get into the top 10.
In terms of the Elite RR - I am now expecting one rider to escape over the top of the final climb and the rest to sit up and let him win by a minute or so. |

Totally bizarre - Van Garderan has been using those little digs in late season races. Actually reminds me a little of when Igor Asterloa won the worlds, though that was a hell a lot more selective.
What a Worlds for Dave92 and the US - and congrats to you SN for making the races as exciting as possible. The TTT was the one I enjoyed the most - though I thought the battle for third in the U23's was pretty nice.
Red Bull are happy to see one of the riders of the season Adam Hansen make the break... also two Contental riders in the top four, Gilbert will be with you Protour I am sure!

Ill admit that the fact that Schleck's wage wouldnt be boosted by beign World Champion did help to quash the dissapointment a little! And Schleck isnt in any danger of winning the ProTour either, unlike Trofimov ...!

But perhaps the last chance for Schleck to win the worlds - if the next one is to be flat - just looked back at previous ones Valverde has won two, Pellizotti the other and now Van Garderen! After next year Schleck will be getting long in the tooth!

Great series of races.
dave must be out of champagne by now of so much celebrating.
I also I'm really surprised about the outcome of the Elite RR. Didn't see that one finishing in what could almost be considered a mass sprint. Pretty happy about my riders races. Pozzovivo and Viviani were good in their TTs. LLS finished in the top20 and my portuguese riders were pretty active in the final race, which makes me a proud DS
