According to Gazetta dello Sport, Di Luca has admitted to doping in a speech given at a university. He said that he has learned from his mistakes and is ready to come back clean.
He's currently negotiating with two-three teams. |

Interesting article that shows the Lance effect looks like it will outlast Lance. This is only about the Tour, but the bigger the Tour gets the bigger the rest of cycling will get.

The UCI says Pegasus team was "unprofessional from the start"

In all fairness, It was doomed to fail (well, going straight in for PT status was)

The Geox-TMC team was supposed to makes its 2011 debut at the Tour of San Luis but it has apparently pulled out of the Argentinean race.
Gazzetta dello Sport ended its story that both Menchov and Sastre could be picked up by Lance Armstrong's RadioShack team.
However the other riders and staff would have very limited chances of securing places with other teams for 2011.

Anyone who knew what Chris White is like reacted to his announcement that he was setting up a team with "this will end badly".
He has a track record of glaring unprofessionalism and of lying compulsively to the people around him to paint a rosy picture of what's happening that has absolutely nothing to do with what's actually happening.
The end of Pegasus was pretty much inevitable.

It's not really cycling news but Kai Reus made his debut in the a-division of marathon speed skating (which is the highest division of marathon speed skating). He participated in the Ronde van Skarsterslan, a 100 km race on one of the lakes in Fryslan. Reus didn't finish though and dropped out at 65 km. Not bad for a debut, especially considering marathon speed skating is one of the toughest sports on the planet. |

Yes, I noticed that in quite a few posts on the CyclingNews forum. Several of his ex-employees and other anonymous people said that he wasn't really a trustable guy.
I tried to mention that on the InnerRing (perhaps, he could get a few people to speak up), but for whatever reason, my comment was deleted: https://theinnerring.blogspot.com/2010...under.html |

What am I supposed to look at, Sastre's joke or the fact that Cyclingnews can't spell the name of the TdF winner of two years ago? |

The witness that Lance coerced into lying in court (the lie being "Lance never admitted to doping" ) under threat of her and her husband losing their jobs with Oakley.........is now screwed as well.
Here's the audio tape where Stephanie McIlvain admits to Greg LeMond that yes, Armstrong did indeed admit that and Betsy Andreu wasn't lying at all.
(Not that anyone with a brain could ever doubt Mrs. Andreu)
If the "flow" of the conversation sounds broken...it's because it is. The boring bits were edited out.
Enjoy yet another piece of Unitesticle's downfall:

My favourite parts of the conversation
Stephanie: "It's gonna be funny to see what George Hincapie's new baby looks like.....he's so heavily into drugs, you know. I can't imagine the baby won't have something wrong."
------------------
Stephanie: "This isn't being recorded, is it?"
Greg: "No, no, it's not"
