Why do all the media flock to Mr Millar to find out what the "man against doping" has to say, as if he's some kind of legitimate guy we should all take a reasoned argument from. Argh.
I also hate how media sources can NEVER EVER be trusted to quote or use information accurately. Ever. Period. Ever. They just use bits of information they know (of) here and there in their stories to make things seem more relevant. Like CyclingNews continuously using the readings to say the positive is 400X below the required limit, as if that would make a difference.
He's been caught, hop onto the next bangwagon already and bum that cyclist. Sheesh.
Anywhoooo:
As to whether Contador has done/does do drugs, I couldn't give a hoot. If he wasn't about, there'd still be a Tour winner. Cycling will go on. I'll continue to live.

Agreed with those sentiments. I've been sitting looking at the news and going "Yeah ok" and looking on the net with the thought "So what else is happening".
To be brutally frank, these results - 0.00000000005g/millilitre - does more to call the anti-doping industry into question - which is what it is rapidly becoming - than it does the athletes'. Especially given the relatively lax legal controls over the mass produced food that we in the West now eat.
Well, Fuyu Li was sentenced 2 years because of the same amount of Clenbuterol, and guess what? He did also blame bad food: https://www.cyclin...erts-agree
This is no shock to me as i have been following cycling for nearly 9 years. Most top riders dope, we all know it even if we deny it because they are our favorites. Even Mosquera tested positive for Hydroxyethyl that can be used to cover up EPO.
They also found supisious "pills" in Riccos house. As i have been trying to say for a long time, everyone does it. I have learned to live with it and give everyone another chance. If the riders are fun to watch and animate the race i wich them the best.
That is why i am fans of Vino, Kasch, Ricco. Vino and Ricco makes the races interesting. I dont care what you say to me, they are filty dopers bla bla bla. You can live in denial all you want, but there is a lot of doping in cycling, and i chose to accept it.

Im not a big fan of Contador and never have been, but a 2 year ban for eating contaminated meat will be harsh, unless the UCI can provide evidence it was planned, I can't see anything wrong with it, we all knew he was going to win the TDF anyway, and I am not saying it makes it all right because it doesn't. So in other words I kind of believe Contador.

If they ban him (I doubt it) then not because of contaminated meat.
There are many other possibilities why he has Clenbuterol in his urine.
He might have taken it on purpose during TdF and forgot to hide it better.
He might have taken it during training, gave some blood and injected this blood with (Clenbuterol pieces) on the rest day.
So as long as he can`t prove that it`s the meat, it is his problem.

we don't know the whole story then, I am not jumping on the band wagon for Contador to be banned until I hear the whole story, it's just unfair I feel,
A agree that we should wait.
Just meant that the UCI will think about a longer time and if they ban him, then just because they don`t believe the meat story.
EDIT: @ felix:
So as long as he can`t prove that it`s the meat, it is his problem.
That`s what I meant. He has to prove his innocence.

Contador has to prove that the Clenbuterol was in the meat, the UCI don´t need to prove anything. They have the positive test. And a two-year-ban would be fair, Hondo was banned for two years in a similar case. Only because it´s a "Contador", why should there be a another dealing with AC?
If Contador does get banned, next years TDF is going ot be very interesting. Personally I don't think he intended to dope, why would he, he knows he is the best stage races around, he knows on his day no one can beat him, he has an awful lot to loose if he dopes, I can't see him putting that a risk.
