Final Signing:
CSM can proudly announce our final signing for next season. This rider is Thibaut Pinot. Pinot is a great rider, who rode for FDJeux this season. While this is a step down for him, he didn't seem to mind and signed right away. Another bonus about him is he speaks french the teams secondary language, although most of the riders are from Quebec and Ontario.

Another TDF Wraps Up in Paris!
Today the riders drank wine and rode on the most famous roads known to any cycling fan. Yes. Another Tour de France has finished. There are winners and losers that come along with this, but to make the losers times even harder we will write story after story about only the winners. This year we saw Denis Menchov take the overall victory in front of Contador and A. Schleck (in that order). The King of the Mountains was won by Pierrick Fedrigo. The Green jersey was won by Oscar Freire and the White jersey was won by Andy Schleck.
In other news 5th place at this years TDF Roman Kreuziger has told the media that he will be riding for.......Saur-Sojasun until 2012. This was a real shocker for all of us.
Edit:
Spoiler 3000 posts.

Good TDF for Rabobank.
Nice signing with Pinot.
Hmm...Kreuziger's contract is up after this season in my game... |

Pinot is a great signing.
Menchov winning the Tour is only possible in PCM, so that doesn't surprise me. |

Richmond Grand Prix
Today is August 1st and that means riders who have signed as trainee's can join their respective squads. For us Zoran De Wijs is joining our squad. His best stat is a 71 in Hill and everything points to him being an Ardennes classic victor before he hangs it up. He is from the Netherlands but he is 1/4 Canadian through his Dads side. We decided to test out his "punching" abilities today.
Today a break of 13 got away. Originally it was a group of 5, with Lambert-Lemay, but a few stronger riders caught up, with 80km to go. Then some of the favourites attacked with 50km to go, and caught up to the BOTD, but with 20km left everyone was brought back.
De Wijs had lots of energy left, and even after David Boily rode hard on the front for 1km De Wijs still couldn't get away from the peloton, while others like Visconti and Charteau could (this really annoyed me). Bbox chased down their own man though, and it was clear they wanted a sprint.
Visconti, Charteau and Tschopp battled it out for a long time in the sprint and for a while it was unclear who would win, but in the end Tschopp won. Bbox got lucky as those tactics would have failed 8/10 times.
Results:
Rank | Name | Team | Time | Player | 1 | Johann Tschopp | Bbox Bouygues Télécom | 4h30'03 | | 2 | Giovanni Visconti | ISD - Neri | s.t. | | 3 | Anthony Charteau | Bbox Bouygues Télécom | s.t. | | 4 | Yukiya Arashiro | Bbox Bouygues Télécom | s.t. | | 5 | Jack Bauer | Endura Racing | s.t. | | 6 | Christopher Newton | Rapha Condor - Sharp | s.t. | | 7 | Rory Sutherland | UnitedHealthcare presented by Maxxis | s.t. | | 8 | Jay Thomson | Fly V Australia | s.t. | | 9 | David Veilleux | Kelly Benefit Strategies | s.t. | | 10 | Simon Clarke | ISD - Neri | s.t. | | 11 | Evan Oliphant | Endura Racing | s.t. | | 12 | Patrik Sinkewitz | ISD - Neri | s.t. | | 13 | Ian Wilkinson | Endura Racing | s.t. | | 14 | Bartosz Huzarski | ISD - Neri | s.t. | | 15 | Damien Gaudin | Bbox Bouygues Télécom | s.t. | | 16 | Thomas Rabou | Team Type 1 | s.t. | | 17 | Kristian House | Rapha Condor - Sharp | s.t. | | 18 | David Boily | Spidertech powered by Planet Energy | s.t. | Player | 19 | Marc De Maar | UnitedHealthcare presented by Maxxis | s.t. | | 20 | Vincent Jérôme | Bbox Bouygues Télécom | s.t. | | 21 | Tobyn Horton | Team Sprocket | s.t. | | 22 | Wouter Sybrandy | Sigma Sport - Specialized | s.t. | | 23 | Alexander Kvachuk | ISD - Neri | s.t. | | 24 | William Dickeson | Jelly Belly presented by Kenda | s.t. | | 25 | Jacob Kollerup | Team Designa Køkken - Blue Water | s.t. | |

I've done some serious catching up, and I've got to say this is a good story! You definitely have to do another season, considering the great (and realistic) signings you've made.

First of all, I think the writing style and overall layout is good. Some awesome screenshots (especially the Slovenian MTF). Would have been even better with higher graphics settings, but that's probably not possible with your computer?
Only slight negatives are some messy result lists sometimes, and of course the slow tempo, but hey, as long as you continue, it's good!
EDIT: And pleease, let us see a win this season!

Thanks for the feedback. Its true that sometimes I am a little messy with thr results, usually because I rush it, and of course my slow speed is a problem, but I was aware of that one. Thankfully, I have gotten through that phase where I lost most of my motivation and the speed should be a little faster now, since my motivation is back (even more so with all this enthusiasm) .
Just wondering, but would it be better if my results were more like the way I did them in my Red Bull story? And I will try for a win, but playing on Hard with this team isn't easy for me as I'm not that good at PCM. Plus I play multiple versions still, so the constant change between them and their different game physics, makes things a little hard.

Its always going to be tough for this team because even in the smallest races, most of the riders are still better than yours (not meant as a slight, just a fact).
Even so, I have faith that you will deliver. |

Tour of Utah Stage 1 (Prologue)
Sorry, but as I despise Prologues and short TT's for that matter, I had to sim it. If this a problem, just let me know and I'll play the next prologue even though I'll hate it.

I just wanna express my rage at Full Cycling Manager the db. I didn't like it at all, so I uninstall it, and of course it gets rid of absolutely everything I had, even if it wasn't part of the db. Every day I find more and more things I'm missing. I even had to use the Interface update just so I could navigate the game, which in truth isn't that bad, but I prefer the light blue colours. Once the PCM Daily V2 Full package downloads in 28 hours I will be playing the Tour of Utah again, but until then I'm a sitting duck.

Tour of Utah Stage 2
Now my game kept on crashing during the loading of the stage. More specifically during Road Geometries each time. So I had to sim the race and Henao was one of the top 3 favoured to win the stage to add insult to injury.

Tour of Utah Stage 3
So the stage looks really hard, but the competition doesn't look as hard as it was in Slovenia so that is a relief. Henao should do well today, but De Luna or Boily could also be in the mix.
Barton is just holding on as we go up the final ascent of the day. He has a 1 minute gap to the peloton but only a fewe seconds to a few riders that were with him not too long ago.
The peloton made the catch, and now there was a selection of riders in the front group with only 7km left.
Henao made an attempt at an attack, but it went nowhere and he stayed with the peloton.
Now we started the sprint with all the riders preserving their energy for this one reason.
Spidertechs in good position but Van Garderen is in front.......
.........And takes the win.
