Not, that I encourage it, but I kind of understand people, who does not pay for the game.

The picture you posted was funny. It's a pity someone decided it needed to be deleted.
I'm glad the thread is still there though - at first when I read your post I thought it had been all deleted.
If they can't take a joke and delete your account - I don't really care. If they can't fix the AI in another patch, then I'm with you and done with PCM for the forseeable future.
Thread is no longer there, looks like they cleaned house some more. Pretty pathetic on there part, they might be in a niche market but that means less customers so when you piss off the core group and the word spreads, there goes a large chunk of money in the long run. How many gaming companies have went down the tube after pissing off the core customer base...too many too name.
Unbelievable really. Seems they are just going to try and stonewall it.
I've read through the whole of the thread too -
1. A petition is a good idea - it needs as many names on it as possible. It's something I'd be happy to put up at PCM.daily - it is CT's site though, so not something I'd do before checking with him.
2. Cyanide does need community support - the user made .db's/shirts/stages are a huge part of making the game what it is. I would suggest a total stop on all this kind of work from the communities. I'd also suggest taking the download sections off line for the time being. Basically, a boycott of the game by the community.
3. Let's have no more - let's make a game and beat Cyanide with it comments. They just sound silly. Cyanide put a lot of work into the game and have taken years to develop it - until your game is 80-90% complete or has secured some kind of funding, I'd keep quiet about it. Don't jump in and announce your XBOX conversion just yet either. |

We need a good lobbyist, like Talleyrand.
I'm all for supporting Talley if he wants to step up for the community

Doddy, how about someone from every site co-ordinates getting the support of its members, then we submit it under the name of someone respected, like Plakker, Talleyrand or Crue True? Just an idea. |

PlakkerNL, Talleyrand, and all are respected guys by Cyanide ? Sorry to be harsh, but get your fingers off your eyes. Ask them (I mean PlakkerNL especially) what Cyanide offered him in rewards of some services with their DB or game. He accepted the deal, and never got his share in return. Talk about respect again ?
I, supposedly, was respected too in the community years ago (you kids weren't even born ), and what ? No matter how seriously I tried to bring the feedback from the community, that was totally useless, or very close to it.
Don't get it wrong : respected by the community means by no way respected by Cyanide & Focus.
There was one guy who was respected by the community in his time, is still part of it, and has worked for Cyanide : Binou (known as Santi in the CyM years). Sadly he doesn't answer emails lately, and I'm not sure he still plays the game.
I'm not against the petition thing, although, as a native French speaker, there are a few things to reshuffle (but it's impressive enough by a non-native). I might as well sign it, if it's of any use, although I don't own the game, nor the former two editions.
Now, would that work ? Let me doubt it, seriously. At least not if you adress it to Cyanide. Send it to Focus, or to whoever is the chain ring above them, but hitting too low will most likely be useless. Cyanide don't get their orders from the community, they get them from Focus.
I might try to send an email to Freire, try to know what's going on at the moment and why they react with so little tact, but I can't promise I'll get an answer, nor a kind one. |

Shut the fuck up.
You are just a fucking KID trying to be the hero.
You have no status in the PCM community to be leading such a thing.
Hey. I dont seem to remember you from anywhere in the community. Go back under your rock please.

So, we got a slight issue. Who does Cyanide still listen to? I cant recall anyone in Benelux or Daily who got the ear of Cyanide.
I guess... french people? But with all due respect, the french communities are not exactly slaves to quality so they wont do anything...
We got a problem.

You need the french community to start complaining too.
Cyanide have always cared about the french community slightly more - why are we all here? The English cya forum sucks!

They are (or they were), just like the English speaking one.
Though, many of them are less mature, so their messages get deleted as well, and, as far as I remember, there was one complaints topic (it may have changed, I don't know), so it was probably as useful, but not as visible. |

So what's the point? About this leadership thing in this whole petition or whatever situation we don't need guys who are respected by Cyanide - as you say it anyway: no one is. But in my opinion, we need guys who are respected by the whole community - and that are guys like Talley etc.
Anyway, it would be up to Cyanide, it's our money they're losing. Mails to game and cycling websites have already been sent by some people. And even if they stop doing the PCM series i wouldn't be disappointed. I can easily live with PCM 09 or PCM 06. And i know communities would update those games too. |

I sent a petition talking about this problem here:
https://www.focus-home.com/index.php?r...ub=support
May be Focus could push Cyanide to give attention to the community. |

Well at least I now found out it's not cyanide that's deleting stuff.
Its focus/moderators. Cyanide don't even have a clue what's happening on their forums at the moment. |

uh-oh.
Same applies to Focus. Going against the community will be very costly.

Still, changes nothing about the disrespect and ignoring of the english speaking community. Even if the whole blow up was started by the Moderators/Focus, Cyanide wasn't better the last years. And after all they work together with the publisher |
