In remembrance...
This fictional one-day charity race has been made to remember all those who've suffered or still suffer from the disaster that struck Japan on the 11th of March 2011. But it also honours all those who've helped or are still helping those affected or who've donated to charity and fundraisers.
The course will take the peloton to one of Japan's national symbols: Fuji-san (a.k.a. Mount Fuji). The highest mountain of Japan must be climbed two times before the riders will reach the finish (on the southside of the mountain) on an altitude of 2400 metres.
