I missed the stage today, did I miss anything worth mentioning or was it just a standard sprinters day? |

Not a standard sprint no, rather a punchers one. In the last downhill Brajkovic wasn't that far from getting the leader jersey, but he got caught in the last kilometer.
There's been a massive crash involving nearly half of the main bunch if I'm not mistaken, but Contador is still the leader. |

I'd say try catching the last 10-15km, thats all that was really interesting.

Paul Martens crashed in the last descent and seems to have broken a rib.
Sad news as he was really great so far this season and could have competed in sprints here.

Haimar Zubeldia has broken his arm, but it's not said that he won't be ready for the TdF.

Not just Martens crashed in this corner. Dumoulin misestimated a corner in the last 3km, Martens was behind him ready to sprint later. He was surprised by his movement and crashed with full speed into a barrier.
That`s why both of them are listed with +0sec in todays result.
Both of them could have played a good role today.
EDIT: Martens has a broken rip, internal bleeding and a bruised kidney.
So get well soon.
