I got some great news ... I passed all my exams with flying colors. And the story will resume full-time on Monday. And I think I will be able to post reports once or twice a day for the next couple of weeks. I'm still not certain how much farther the story will go after I pick up my copy of PCM 10. We will crosses that bridge when we get there because I really like the progess of this story. We'll See.

Interview - Jean-Christophe Peraud
Q: Well now you sit 2nd in GC, after a 2nd on today's ITT. Any chance for you to take the top spot?
A: Looking at the rest of the tour, stage 4 is flat... so not a good chance I can tke it there. And stage 5 is a little hilly... we'll see.

EA-Sony Ericsson Press Confernce
I gather everyone here today to present so great news for the future of the team. If you recall, our scout Antonio Miguel Diez, was been away in South France for almost the whole season. And sadly for the rest of his life. But while there he did encounter what he considered, a future great. Jimmy Licina was been on our watch list every since. After reviewing race recaps for U-23 races. We realized this guy was legit. Winning on a tough climb and always placing near the top.
Over the course of March we sent offers back and forth, coming closer to terms each time. But now in April we are glad to say we have finally reached an agreement for next season.
And here he is now ... Jimmy Licina!
We are very grateful that Jimmy will ride with us next season.

Circuit Sarth-Pays de la Loire Stage 4 Report
Peraud has to calm his nerves and prepare to hold onto his 2nd in GC, or else any faults could take away any chance to take 1st during hilly stage 5.
To take a little pressure off the team we hope to get young rider Raphael Delobel into the breakaway.
Delobel left with the first attack groups but was quickly reeled back in as the peloton didn't like the combination of the group, and Delobel didn't have the energy to break into the 2nd attack group.
So the team set our sights on the chase ...
The helpers do their job and bring back the break right before the final sprint check point which included time bonus for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (-3, -2, -1.). With Peraud sitting a couple ticks off first it was worth a shot to try and get a little bit closer for stage 5.
Oh, so close as Peraud close the line in 4th receiving no time bonus, Peraud upset with the close call decides to keep ride as the rest of the sprinters drop back to the peleton.
By the time Peraud reaches the final climb of the stage and climber weren't going to allow Peraud to take their points.
Shortly after Peraud was back in the peleton when the sprint trains quickly formed.
When they crossed the line it wasn't the man that won that caught Peraud's attention it was the man who finished 2nd and use the time bonus to take 2nd in GC too. Moving Peraud back to 3rd ...
Just to note Talansky was told to catch one of the trains but failed to even catch-up.

Interview - Jean-Christophe Peraud
Q: What can we hope for in stage 5?
A: With a lot of little climbs and downhill, I hope to take advantage of my downhill ability and the time bonus at the finish.

Circuit Sarth-Pays de la Loire Stage 5 Report
The last stage of the tour today, and with Peraud sitting 6 seconds off first, could there be a last ditch effort to shake up the GC Standings?
The early breakaway got away with no favorites included with was a little relief for the team ...
And for an added bonus the team had to do little of the work to bring them back.
Then we started hitting the hills located in the city.
And with 20km to go Peraud was watchin' the leaders and staging for his downhill attack.
Over the climb nobody wanted to make a move, not even Peraud...
But Peraud was running out of time, he has to make his move.
And quickly caught the remaining breakaway riders. Behind him ...
Joly made his move, a strong climber, but a minute or so back. And still no attack from the leaders.
Peraud and Joly were running away from the peleton ...
The leaders will realized that Peraud had a shot ...
Around the bend at the 1km to go banner, Joly lead Peraud, but Peraud could care less about the stage, his eyes were set on the GC.
Across the line Peraud had won the real race!
Everyone was shocked, even me.

After playing PCM10 all day I think I have came up with a solution to save the story. There are way to many bugs in PCM10 right now to start a career, so I will finish out the rest of the year of the story on PCM09. Then by the time I finish the year, patches, db's, etc. Should be out for PCM10, so then I can customize a db with the story and continue right on into PCM10. So the story isn't dead people. By the way graphics of PCM10 look great on my cpu.

Vuelta a Castilla y Leon Stage 1 Report
Our Riders -
Nice easy flat stage to start the tour, no attack planned today. Just sitting back and waiting for Stage 2 ITT, where Larsson should be the favorite.
The early breakaway of 14 riders,
That didn't come to much because they were caught with 20km to go.
After that the sprint was on.
What looked like a boring stage, toke a sudden turn into trouble as a gap opened up during the sprint.
Larsson and Ackerman noticed the gap right away and tried to close it.
At the finish Rast easily crossed the line first with no real pure sprinters in the field, and then the gap ...
Larsson and Ackerman get accross, but in the end no time gaps are given.

Overall GC also same as stage because their were no time bonuses for sprints.
Interview - Gustav Erik Larsson
Q: 4th place today to a trio of RadioShack riders, and hope for a Top 3 overall in GC?
A: A little bit of hope but I'm no where near the climbing ability of Leipheimer or Armstrong.

Vuelta a Castilla y Leon Stage 3 Report
Flat to start the day, but the finish should cause some interesting results. Daniel Martin is set on helping Larsson reach the top with Leipheimer and Armstrong.
The early breakaway had it the 20km to go before being caught by Team RadioShack draging the rest of the peleton behind them.
Then at the base on the climb as Martin and Larsson looked away to get some quick needed food Leipheimer launched his attack.
Martin tried to help Larsson counter.
But it was to late Leipheimer picked the perfect time to attack.
And easily rode home for the solo victory gaining a one minute time gap over second. Martin and Larsson rode home in the third group to cross the line along with Armstong.
Finishing 6th and 8th respectively.

Interview - Daniel Martin
Q: Just bad timing on the counter or not enough energy?
A: I would say a little bit of both. Leipheimer caught us at the back of the peleton when he attack early on the climb, and by the time we reached the front, Me and Larsson, we real had nothing left to counter and bring Leipheimer back.

Vuelta a Castilla y Leon Stage 4 Report
Another hilly top finish today for the tag team of Daniel Martin and Gustav Erik Larsson to try and take down the RadioShack Trio.
Todays early breakaway trying to steal a stage win.
With 20km to go they still held the front ...
And a small gap with 10km to go.
But nothing comes of it again. Spoiler (So can't wait to take the story into PCM10, were these breakaways might have a chance.)
Once caught the race slowed up not just because of the incline but no interest from any of the other teams wanted to set the pace.
Then around the bend of the 5km banner the RadioShack Trio attacked. Leipheimer, Armstrong, and Brajkovic.
Sparking attacks from other favorites including Martin and Larsson.
But RadioShack's Pro Tour Climbers top all the secondary circuit climbers. Leipheimer and Armstrong tear up the climb like they were on a easy training camp.
Martin and Larsson can only try and hold on to their gap back to the peleton. There is no hope in catching RadioShack.
Armstrong gives into Leipheimer, Levi wins the stage easily.

Interview - Gustav Erik Larsson
Q: Martin beat you up the climb today, is he the better climber?
A: I'll gave my props to Martin but I would say it is a dead heat. One thing I know for certain is that Team RadioShack is destroying the competition. How did they get invited to this race is beyond me.

Vuelta a Castilla Stage 5 Report
Easy flat stage to finish the 5 stage tour, we will just try and stay out of trouble today and maybe get a rider into the breakaway.
As the breakaway sets up to leave at the start of the stage, Richard Ackerman tries to get in as well.
And he is able to stay with group that countains 18 other riders, all at least 10 minutes behind Leipheimer in GC. Today could actual be a day for the breakaway. With the large number of riders Ackerman can stay in the back without relaying and is really unnoticed by the other riders.
Under the 20km to go banner the breakaway had a gap of 5 minutes back to the peleton, with no real chase from RadioShack, the breakaway riders knew one of them were going to take home a stage win.
Tensions grew high and finally there was the breakaway attack that split the group, Ackerman countered with full energy after not doing any of the pace making. Now there was just 5 riders up front.
10km to go, Ackerman was looking good, still no sign of the peleton.
Ackerman just didn't leave energy for the sprint which costed him the stage win but he managed a 5th place, a great result for him.
The peleton eventually came in 3 minutes behind the breakaway riders.
Note: Game crashed before I could export results, sorry.

Q: 5th Place today, by far the best result of your career so far. Where can the viewers see you in action again?
A: You will be able to see me in action right away in our next race, Giro del Trentino. So I don't get much of a rest for my efforts, but I'm a professional now and I can handle it.
