Tirreno Adritiaco Stage 1
I'm just gonna get right down with it and give you the news. This was one of the worst days of racing in my life. If I was a rider I would have been scared to even finish this day without getting an injury.
Stijn Devolder had a nasty crash today. After 2 hours of medical treatment they found he has a small crack in his hand and a large bruise on his shoulders knees and elbows. Recovery time 2 weeks. He will continue racing the tirreno but with injuries.
About 40% of the peloton crashed today. So guess a name and chances are they were involved in a crash. Every cras hoccured on the decent of the final hill before the finish. It was a very tricky decent and even desending wizards crashed today.
Basically this was non important news compared to the news of injuries but Terpstra of Milram won the day. Good ride by him. I just hope all the riders are all right for tommorow. Langeveld will be out for the rest of the race. He abandoned yesterday. Lets hope he's alright.

Stage 3 Tirreno Adriatico
Today was an easy day Caisse wanted to do all the work so we just had to sit in the middle of the pack until things got interesting....
Velits and Barredo. Devolder cant match pace because of injuries yesterday but he held on pretty well for those reasons.
3kms to go and because the pace is light in the peloton Velits of Colombia decides to attack. He follows Failli of A&S.
Velits still has a lead but not muhc and Petacchi is coming very speedily.
300 Metres and Velits still has the lead but it's becoming very close. Will he hold on?
I think that answers that then! Velits great attack and great speed to hold off Petacchi. I know Batista will be happy about this

Stage 3 Tirreno Adriatico
sorry but the stage crashed just before the replay.
Basically just like yesterday nothing happened until 5km to go then many attacks went and then Gusev won. It was not a hard day at all. Rogers of HTC crashed so we'll look to see how he'll do tommorow. Devolder told us that his hand and wrist feel fine. This is great as his hand recvered way faster than expected!

Stage 4 Tirreno Adriatico
Looking at the stage profile I would say this is a stage for Boonen or Devolder.
Todays break. They get caught with 5kms to go. Ivanov is ahead and looking strong.
Now 4km to go. Can Katusha get 2 wins in a row?
Well the sprint begins and Ivanov is passed. Arvesen looks the best so far in the sprint but it's a very steep hill. 10% gradient and some very good sprinters are at the front. Surprising.
Now Sanchez looks the fastest and is in 1st by a wheel width over Arvesen and Bennati.
Well Arvesen wins. Good to see this guy winning. One of the better class acts in the pro Peloton these days.

HI I don't know if anyone will care but I'm pondering the thought of quitting this story because of lack of interest on my part. I knew before I even started that no one would like it as much as an 09 story but that's not what matters to me its about having fun and Quickstep has been fun but the results of the team has not been very good so I think I need to step down so that this team can win again.

Hey your new screens are great. You can really see the difference!
I really know what you mean,at the moment there aren´t many people who are interested in stories so I don´t think it´s because of a 08 story..it´s the same with mine..
But don´t think about that just go on,I try not only to read it but to leave a comment in the future |

Thats not the problem its because i'm not having fun as Quickstep. They have a great team but its all belgians and I want a multicultural team so I can sign anybody. I have really been in to watching cycling documentaries lately and all of them are telling me to be a USA team.

Hey your new screens are great. You can really see the difference!
I really know what you mean,at the moment there aren´t many people who are interested in stories so I don´t think it´s because of a 08 story..it´s the same with mine..
But don´t think about that just go on,I try not only to read it but to leave a comment in the future
Thats not the problem its because i'm not having fun as Quickstep. They have a great team but its all belgians and I want a multicultural team so I can sign anybody. I have really been in to watching cycling documentaries lately and all of them are telling me to be a USA team.
Well.then just do it
Well sorry for this because Iknow you like Quickstep I will probably continue it later. but Quickstep just have a history of Cobbles riders and that isn't my style. I like the mountains. I will continue this later but I need a break from this team.
