Thanks for the guys...
Sponsor review:
After we lost the yellow in last stage of Andalucia, although we managed to get 5th and 8th place overall which is good, the team wants to continue the good results that has achieved in the past races.Next race will be Clasica de Almeria.
Here is the squad for Almeria,Pedersen and Herrero will try to get a win.
The stage started with a group of riders trying to get out.A E1 is formed with 6 riders and at the 2nd climb 2 of them loose contact with the rest and form E2.Footon controlled the gap and managed to cath both E1 and E2 just before the top of 2nd climb. We reach the 10km mark with Footon very strong at the front...
10km:
Peloton reach the sprint zone with Herrero leading Pedersen,Voeckler(BBO) comes very fast from the left..
..Herrero takes Voeckler wheel...
...Herrero gets Voeckler and Pedersen comes out of his wheel and get in the middle...
...Voeckler is loosing speed...
...Pedersen is getting more...
..and takes the win ahead of Herrero...
..sadness in front and hapiness behind...
We get 4 riders on top 10....Bbox just did the same ..
Great race we had here, better comeback could not have,Footon looking strong, let´s see how we manage in Murcia.

After looking the calendar,i decided the squad wich will ride in Murcia.
First attack started before 1st int.sprint with 7 riders,T.Faiers has green light...
...and 1st Int.sprint will be disputed between Faiers and Rodriguez(ROC),with our talented young rider getting 1st.This group will be catched by peloton and with no more surprises...
...peloton is at 3km mark, sprinters are in position...Herrero is leading Milán...
..and there they go..Herrero behind Wrölich,Roelandts and Dean on the left...
..1km...Herrero goes out from Wrölich wheel...
...Milán makes the move...
..but it´s too late for the win,Wrölich wins,Herrero is 2nd and Milán 3rd.
Team standing.

Stage starts with an attack from 6 riders, our young Faiers wants to try again...
..right after first group, another 6 riders launch a second attack..
...and both groups get together but with continuos attacks some riders loose contact..
..so E1 is formed by these riders..
..E1 reach 1st Int.sprint with R.Garcia(ORB) at the front..Faiers had no power to do better...
.meanwhile 3 riders join E1..
..M.Wynants(QST) is first at 2nd Int.sprint,D.Gallego(BUR)is 2nd and Faiers gets 3rd..
...at this point,this group is 5´57" ahead of peloton...100km to the finish..at 70km mark,gap drops to 3´35"..
..KOM sprint,A.Piedra(AND) is first,H.Oliveira(BAR)2nd and Faiers 3rd..with the high pace that peloton is making,E1 will be catched and no more atempts are made to escape..
..10km mark..
..4kms..
1.7 km,our riders can´t get good positions...
..Pacheco is in front-Zaballa-Barbosa-Vaitckus on the left...
...but no one can´t take this one from Pacheco,Zaballa is 2nd and Barbosa 3rd..
..Milán 8th,Mayoz 9th and we could have been 10th too but race directors decided to give 10th place to Wrölich....???
Soon will start Paris-nice and Tirreno Adriático, your job is to choose the race you want to see complete reports.

Both would be better, but if we have to decide between both, I would take Paris - Nice

Stage 3 take us to an ITT wich will make some changes in Overall Class..
Footon´s big hope is of course our leader D.Herrero, let´s see how he does.
There are not many specialists,so we go to the ones who can win today..
..Levi Leipheimer is the one who all bet to win today,he makes the best time, throwing his team mate S.Paulinho to 2nd position...
..another RadioShack rider,S.Rosseler, does what nobody thought he could do..he beats Levis´s time by 6sec.,great performance..
...he´s not a potencial winner today but he deserves our atention, our young M.Brändle makes a great result,+33"sec...
..Garmin rider S.Tuft, maybe still not in shape, makes worst then Brändle,+38"...
...the portuguese flying rocket,C.Barbosa(PRT) shows that he is here to fight for final GC,makes +27"...
...and the moment of truth,D.Herrero shows a very positive performance here,+14"...
..F.J.Pacheco(XAC) can say goodbye to the yellow...

Double for RadioShack
I agree with FreitasPCM, post first P-N all stages, then T-A. |
