yep, he's definitely the strongest there but because of Bouygues bad performance in the opening TTT he has no chance to take the overall, which isn't really bad news for us
hehe yes that´s good for your team!what´s your feeling when you´re trying to make a sprint train with them?do they a better job than columbia?
no, not really. The Columbia riders were stronger, especially in the last year...

Sutton got the lead yesterday which means that today we just needs to be faster than Neyens in the sprint to win Tour of Qatar. For the stage win, Bonnet is looking to take the 4th win, which will mean an amazing performance for Bbox
Flecha had an amazing day and it was really hard for Arvesen to keep it up with him, Kurt even almost losing his wheel when the sprint was about to start and that put the Bouygues and Quick Step trains in a better position that us
Voeckler did a great job leading the way out for Bonnet to put him in a perfect position for the final kilometers of the race, while behind them Hagen is trying to bring Sutton back in front
In the last kilometer Bonnet took the lead from Voeckler and it was almost impossible for Sabatini, Hagen and Sutton to keep it up with him
And William Bonnet takes his 4 stage win in a row in Qatar! Amazing performance for the French sprinter, which puts Bbox in a nice position for the promotion battle in the Continental Tour. Sabatini took the second spot, while Hagen finished third in today's stage
Neyens was nowhere in the sprint today so with today's 4th place, Chris Sutton his second win of the season, winning Tour of Qatar 2010! Neyens finished second, while with today's bonifications Hagen got the third place from his team - mate, Flecha. Thanks to the opening TTT Arvesen, Cummings and Wiggins also finished on top positions in the overall rankings

Bonnet is fixed in qatar. He won two stages on mine but i won overall by 1sec with hagen by winning the last stage. Looking good at the moment. Is it me or does the wind in the tour of qatar hardly exist anymore. I played all stages and the highest wind was 12. Was not happy. Anyway good luck. |

oh it's there. It even cause an important split in the second stage.
And it was quite strong, in 2 or 3 stages it was over 50

Our third race in France this year is Tour du Haut Var. Gerrans is our leader for this short stage race, but with riders like Cunego, Voeckler, Nocentini, Fedrigo, Gilbert or Kroon here a top 10 for Simon would be agreat achievement
There were 5 riders in the day's main breakaway but no real big names, except maybe for Lilian Jegou. Hollenstein was first at the top of 2 climbs out of 3 today and he took the King of the Mountains jersey
But they had no chance to stay in front all the way to the finish as in the chase we can saw today only blue, white and a little bit of pink, Bouygues Telecom and Lampre being the most intersted teams to bring them back. That can only mean that both Voeckler and Cunego want the win today
Downing and Gerrans tried a team work for today's uphill finish but the sprint wasn't organized at all and it was impossible to see any of the sprint trains working
Still the finish was quite interesting with Cunego, Voeckler and De Ketele fighting for the win until the very last meter of the stage
Even though at some point it looked like Cunego had it, Voeckler takes the win, bringing Bbox another victory after Bonnet's impressive Tour of Qatar performance. This wasn't a really good stage for us our highest placed rider being Gerrans on the 17th place

I hate this wind there
if you are not in the first part of the pack you have no chance to sprint for the stage win;it´s always the same in Qatar |

yeah but nothing stops you from placing your riders at the front from the start of the stage.
And if you have a good flat team it can work our really well for you in the end

Still I'm a little bit disappointed as we didn't managed to win a sprint even though there weren't any real top class sprinters.

Today's stage looks harder than the first one but hopefully this time Gerrans will able to get a better result. Vockler won the first stage in front of Cunego, but the Italian clearly wants the revenge as he is the main favorite to take the stage win
Sylvain Calzati was one of the nine riders that got away from the pack. He was first at the top of the second climb of the day and second on the other 2. Still this was not enough for him to take the King of the Mountains jersey as Di Gregorio won the first and the third climb and beat Calzati by only 2 points
With 30 kilometers left from the stage, on the last real ascent, the big attacks started. Voeckler and Gilbert made the first moves and they were followed by many others such as Cunego, Nocentini, Joly, Kroon, Hivert, Verheyen, Pereiro, Lowik, Gerrans or Zabriskie
Still they were all brought back in the pack sooner or later. And with just 2 kilometers left from the stage we saw a pack controlled by Bbox in order to protect Vockler's yellow jersey. Rolland, Fedrigo and Bonnet were there
Bonnet was there but he wasn't able to be as fast as he was in Qatar. Gilbert and Vockler dominated the sprint, while Joly hardly kept it up with them
Gilbert proved in the end to be the strongest and he took a quite comfortable stage win. A tired Vockler was passed by Joly in the last meters, but still it was enough for him to win this year's edition of Tour du Haut Var! Our best rider today was Gerrans, but he finished only 22nd taking the same place in the general classification

Bouygues Télécom is definitely going straight up to the PT again!
Good luck in Andalucia, hope Lövkvist can perform well |

After an unsuccessful Tour du Haut Var we are moving to Spain for Vuelta a Andalucia. Our main riders here will be Hagen, Lovkvist, Flecha and Vigano, with the first two looking for a good place in the overall rankings. A top 3 could be a nice achievement since Caisse d'Epargne is looking way stronger than us with Valverde, Soler, Plaza, Moreau and Rui Costa. For today's opening ITT the main favorites seem to be Hagen, Gerdemann and Lovkvist
Valverde was the first rider to start today and he came with a really good time: 10 minutes and 48 seconds. His team - mates, Plaza and Moreau also had good performances but they weren't even close to beat him
Lovkvist was the first rider than had a good chance to beat Valverde but he finished 5 seconds behind the ex-Spanish champion. Still this is quite a good result for Thomas as this is his first race of the season
Hagen was rated as the big favorite today, but he wasn't able to beat Valverde either. He was faster than Lovkvist though, beating his time with 3 seconds. Our third time - trialist, Cummings, also had a nice time, being just 10 slower than Boasson Hagen. This is looking like a tight battle between Sky and Caisse from the very first stage
Milram also got in that fight, both Fothen and Terpstra having some good results. But the best one was Gerdemann, the only rider that was able to beat Valverde today, being 5 seconds faster than the Spanish. After winning Vuelta a Mallorca a week ago, Gerdemann looks settled to make the Spanish double in February
Results
1. | Linus Gerdemann | Team Milram | 10'42 | 2. | Alejandro Valverde | Caisse d'Epargne | + 6 | 3. | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Sky Professional Cycling Team | + 8 | 4. | Thomas Lövkvist | Sky Professional Cycling Team | + 11 | 5. | Niki Terpstra | Team Milram | + 13 | 6. | Christophe Moreau | Caisse d'Epargne | s.t. | 7. | Markus Fothen | Team Milram | + 15 | 8. | Rubén Plaza | Caisse d'Epargne | + 16 | 9. | Oleg Chuzhda | Caja Rural | s.t. | 10. | Johan Mombaerts | Big Mat - Auber 93 | + 18 | 11. | Stephen Cummings | Sky Professional Cycling Team | s.t. | 12. | Nicolas Vogondy | Bbox Bouygues Télécom | + 19 | 13. | David Le Lay | AG2R La Mondiale | s.t. | 14. | Arkaitz Durán | Footon - Servetto | + 24 | 15. | Laurent Lefèvre | Bbox Bouygues Télécom | + 25 |

Thanks. I also hope for a good race from Lovkvist, but Hagen was rated by the game as the team - leader. Hopefully they will both be at the top

The good news from Andalucia might be that with only 2 stages made for sprinters a lot of the top sprinters decided to skip this race, which makes Hagen and Vigano the main favorites for today's stage
Inside the last ten kilometers, after all the escapes were caught, Lovkvist tried an attack but it will be quite hard for him to make a gap with a pack lead by Caisse coming right after him
Still he managed to get away and stay in front until the last 3 kilometers, when he was caught by a pack lead by Flecha and Vigano
Arrieta got between Vigano and Hagen ruining a little bit our train but Vigano and Hagen should have any problems beating him in the sprint
In the final kilometer Vogondy and Pinto also came to the front, but only the last one since to be a good sprinter. This might be a huge chance for Hagen to win the stage
When Hagen started his acceleration nobody could keep it up with him and he takes his first win of the season! Vogondy and Arrieta followed him on the podium, while Vigano grabbed the 5th place. But in this race there are no bonifications which means that Gerdemann will keep the red jersey even though Hagen won the stage
