If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

How not suprizing Gilbert won
Great last two weeks of the season that guy is having. Good job by Sanchez as well though, he came pretty close in the sprint and did some nice descending again. Plus, he was the only one who could (nearly) follow Gilbert uphill. |

Gilbert deserved this win. Good ride for Vino <3 though. |

Ignore the fact that 99% of DBs have Kolobnev at 56 sprint. He's actually a decent sprinter.

Great race! Far better that 2008 Cunego win in weak field.
Gilbert is stepping up a level, 2010 promises a lot, by his words looks like he will target Liege.
I love Lombardia, it's becoming my favorite classic, beautiful scenery, final suited for attacks, Ghisallo... |

In the pcm08 and pcm09 original db he has 65 sprint. Still too low imo.
Btw nice to see Hoogerland 5th and Gesink 6th and where was Cunego?

Anyone know where I could watch the race now. I wasn't able to watch it. I am in USA, so don't have access to most pay sites in europe. Will anywhere have it posted, like a universalsports.com type deal?
Cheers to Gilbert! |

Gilbert
Glad he's winning stuff, but now it's the end of the season which is NOT good.

Entertaining. Very good win from Gilbert - I was worried a little that Vino might end up winning. |
