sutty68 - It was a perfect stage, for both riders
Roozeken - Thanks! I think the Green Jersey is already gone, though. Behind more than 150 points or something!
Ollfardh - Thanks!
rogvi97 - Nice
Jakstar22 - Thanks, we'll need it!
Atlantius - Sure is
dienblad - Not at all, though I must say I was lucky Cavendish and Sagan started their sprint pretty late. They were heaps faster, but too late |

Tour de France 2013 - Stage 15
The first of four consecutive mountain stages!
A hard, hard day. It's the end of week 2 and everyone's looking forward towards the second rest day, it's only 153 km away, but what a 153 km it is!
I still can't believe all that's happening. Since the National Championships, my life has changed to much. Wearing the Belgian National Jersey, winning a Tour de France stage... Today I noticed a lot of respect. It's strange, but the peloton is really respecting me now. It's an amazing feeling, and I hope it will only grow.
Cavendish was almost out the time limit, I was pretty safe. Radochla was too late and will leave this Tour, though.
Due to a lack of experience, I've wasted way too much energy in the last week, positioning myself constantly, riding in the wind... A result: I needed the rest day, but there was still this mountain stage to race. I tried to keep at the front but it was damn hard.
And then the attacks came, Rolland and Gesink.
The pace went up, and I dropped down. I realized this was probably the end to a beautiful two weeks in the top 10. I always knew it was unrealistic...
Trofimov was the best one of the breakaway and took the win!
Almost 19 minutes later, I finish, completely empty and slightly dehydrated: For the entire final climb I didn't have any water...
Glad it's a rest day now!

In other news: Pinot will most probably go to AG2R to be a team leader. AG2R is very likely to promote back to World Tour next season.
Until the next stage,

You are only just outside the top 10. Just ride consistently and you should get back in.

Too bad for Willy, but it's not over yet. He can do something against the Schlecks in the time trial!
And VDB and Vanendert are performing very well. Did you forget to transfer your trainers to Argos as well?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

sutty68 - They sure are! Those are some tough profiles...
Jakstar22 - Let's hope he can
Roozeken - That could happen, but it seems Nibali and Rolland are too keen on taking back time on Contador to let anyone else go far!
Ollfardh - The time trial will be in Willy's advantage, that's for sure! I think Lotto are enjoying my old trainers too much Or Willy left his steaks there |

Tour de France 2013 - Stage 16
The final week... We're all feeling it. For us both it's the first time we've reached 16 days of racing in one stage race, so it's getting tough!
Another tough one, let's hope for the best!
Instead of sitting in the grupetto, I was mostly on the road with Clement and Wegmann.
Seeldraeyers turned on the heat quite early, making for a hard race.
On the toughest mountain of the day, Col de Granier, Costa asked me to turn on the gas. I gave it quite some steam, I must say!
But then Costa got hit by some cramps. I waited for him but he told me to go.
I couldn't catch up on the pace from the favorites, though I found the strength needed to leave Andy Schleck and Robert Gesink behind, and that's already an achievement worth mentioning!
Nibali won with quite a gap, but strangely no time gaps were given, so Contador remains leader.
I finished nicely in the top 10! I'm moving back up in the classification. I really don't know what to expect. Two more mountain stages and a time trial, I could finish top 10! But it's getting hard and the race days are getting to me...
