Good race, Berling (2nd last year) took it, there was a corner with 150m to go, and Berling was first round the corner and got the right line in a 7 man sprint. Wilko never looked great, and Malcolm Elliot is amazing, despite being 50 soon. |

Turned out to be a good day for Danish cycling with a victory in the East Midlands race for Berling and Philip Nielsen's stage victory at Vuelta Mexico Telmex |

Yay @ Kiserlovski
Any info on why he's got such a gap? |

There was a little mistake in the result. Kiserlovski beat Pozzovivo in a sprint a deux, the rest followed at 1:29

Thx Wilier
After seeing the clips, I'm a bit disappointed.
He just kept sitting on the wheel of Pozzovivo and stole the victory.
Pozzovivo deserved it. |

Tour of Romandie starts today,
Is this one of those races where Basso and Menchov will ride anonymously round to a top 10? I notice Valverde is going to fit yet another race in!
Speaking of Anonymous is it time for Cavendish to shut up and get some wins before Greipal judgement day in the Giro?
Some fairly hilly terrain but with a ITT on stage 3 I guess it will mostly be decided on that. A race for Brajkovic or Kreuzinger perhaps?
Hopefully some interesting action before next months big race. |

I think a certain Rogers will be looking for a top 10 as well, in preparation for a very similar race over in America. Cav, I presume, will also be preparing for Cali, and no doubt would like a win by now.

A race such as Tour de Romandie really deserves its own thread. Someone, make it! |

The race used to be awesome. Then in the past couple of years they destroyed it with an awful course. This year is no different.
Bah. Humbug.

I could imagine that Rogers could make a top 3 resultat. But HTC said that their captain will be Pinotti who was 3rd once.
Either Rogers isn`t in form or the race is that easy taht also Pinotti and Rabon can make a good result. Similar to Murcia where nobody thought that Rabon can beat all the favorites.
Quite disappointed of Romandie profile, I always liked the race. |

Sagan? He is quite incredible ... while he drove for Dukla Trencin together with his brother George as practiced in all weathers. He is the iron man. Great hope Slovak cycling.

I find myself looking a reason to atack against Sagan..but I can not find any. This short prologue and sprint finishes showing us ..that he is great power rider. |

Mandri was not happy to be signed in Romandie list..some guys get sick and some changed a mind in the last moment. There go's he's Giro preparations (he will suck and crash in Italy any way). If you looking unlucky cyclist..there is a candidate. |

What happened to VDB? He was announced leader of Lotto and no sign of him yesterday. |

If Mandri doesn't do anything stupid (like breaks, trying for stage wins, going too deep in the next TT, etc) then doing Romandie shouldn't be an issue. There's plenty of time following the Tour to recover completely for the Giro.
