Menchov did loose some time to day. Not good for him. Well done by Dessel. He took a chance, and it where going downhill all the way in and it was to hard for the others to take him...

they also had to attack today, since they have a 0% chance of getting all the time they need tomorrow. but they didn't.
This is why I rank the tour third in the grand tours from a fan's perspective: it's overrated all year and when we get to it it always throws up mediocrity.

Schleck and Sastre must have at least 3 minutes before the time trial on Cadel Evans and Menchov if they are going to win.. So tomorrow the have to attack... Maybe Frank Schleck can do the same as he did in 2006 and win on Alpe d'Huez
