I assume our goal races will mean something because I won two of Mine and did well in the other.

@Cyclotron: I think how the minimum wages are at the moment is okay. High Average riders get a way higher wage anyways. Honestly I don't think you can compare the ranking points per wage value of leaders with the one of domestiques, like you are doing. Most riders are working for their leaders and so don't have a chance to go for points by themselves that's why they have a way lower ranking points per wage.
I don't think the system is rewarding one man teams, if you look at the rankings, the teams that are on the top have a lot of riders in the top 100. One man teams like Mandiri or Nike didn't do very well. But the ranking system will be adjusted anyways, so more riders have the chance to score.
@Dippofix: You still didn't send in anything for round 3 of scouting,
@Luis Leon Sanchez: Yes they will have an influence on your budget. |

Through your votes (14), the nominated riders could have been reduced to 10. The most votes a rider got was 9 and at least 3 votes were necessary to make the cut. However, with all the riders included, that got at least 3 votes, there were 12, so I removed to riders that also had 3 votes: André Greipel and Daniel Martin.
Please pick five riders out of the following ten and sort them by your preference of who should become Velo d'Or in your oppinion. Send me that list by PM. The first rider on that list will get 7 points, the second 5, rider 3 to 5 will get 3, 2 and 1 point. At the end the rider with the most points will be the Velo d'Or.

Why is Lavery there and not someone like Peter Velits?

Nice graphics for that Bikex.
- I wonder who will win this, had no idea Lavery would make the shortlist, so I'd say Lavery! |

Congratulations to Phillipe Gilbert, much deserved win there.
Good to see Nairo and Aobeeto up there in second and third as well.
Looking forward to next season now.

Damn it, I forgot to vote again. I wonder how much difference it would have made had I given maximum points to Lavery.
Anyway, clearly, this result is spot on. There has never been any doubt in my mind that Lavery is a better rider than Froome, Sagan or Valverde. Better luck next year lads.

Notice how the above comment left out TVG, as we all know that truly TVG is the best rider it just doesn't need saying

Pleased for Gilbert there. Plenty of pressure for us in season 2 having the world champ/Velo d'or winner, if we keep him.
- A bit surprised by that to be honest.
Lavery in 5th makes me think of a saying about patriotism and nationalism.
Bikex - Got quite a few teams now, is there enough yet? |

If any of last seasons managers havn't signed up yet might be worth sending them a quick PM, and you could open a Sign Up thread in the main stories section

I PM'ed them all and most don't have enough time for a second season. From some I didn't even get an answer.
I already opened another thread in hte story section, I think only one is allowed? |

Gratz to Gilbert and his manager Voted him on my second place since I personally just ranked Contador's Giro & surprise LBL wins higher alongside the 3rd place in France. But his consistent results alongside the fabolous spring campaign and world champs and the stunning cheap wage definitely make him a great champion this season, worthy standing on top spot.
