BTW, Berny Eisel just left my Team Pokerstars (soon to become CSC) team to join Team Type 1 at the start of 2015!

I want to know what I did to give him Type 1 diabetes???? Thought you had to be born with that type?

No , anyone at any time can become a Type 1 diabetic, you don't just get it from birth Wink

What are the main reasons for becoming Type 1? Is it accident-related, random, genetics?

Diabetis is due to the body not beeing able to produce insuline to dissolve sugar. I think that's this, right Sutty?

Not too sure to be honest, Type 1 is when the persons pancreas stops producing Insulin by itself and so has to be injected on a daily basis.
Type 2 still produces a slight amount of insulin so can be controlled by tablets and diet.
Diet is very important for diabetics

Yeah I agree with the others. It would be nice to see TT1 get some guys in the top 10 on these one day hilly races!
