Good tactic by Columbia, putting a rider who can't sprint in Cav's wheel so nobody can take advantage of it.
Oh wait, it was Hushovd. |

wow, nice one for Cavendish, made even better by a rather nicely executed bunny hop. We need a points contest that takes style into account. McEwen gets the points for wheelies over mountains
Also, great "ride fast" by Hushovd, he didn't actually sprint did he?
Amazing by Cav(!), Hushovd sat down the entire way. Atle Kvolsvål, Thor's personal trainer was co-commentator on Eurosport today. And he said he was stiff.. But still good for him to take 2nd.

Hushovd was stiff? Well that explains the fact he didn't get up, which was as impressive as Cav's sprint.

And again Bos was sitting decent until Hutarovich gave him a shoulder barge and again never sprinted after that. Bleh. Either lead out for Hushovd or don't sprint than, mr. Theo |

Nice sprint. Again strange by Quickstep today. Had a nice train without any speed on 1km mark Yay 19th place!!! They must be proud

It just proves that Cavendish is in a class of his own. Nobody can "touch" him.. That man is a machine!

Actually, i think that motor in the last corner fucked up QS their train. A few riders had to take the corner wide or they would have hit it i guess. Amazing win by Cav though, especially the bunny hop . Goss very impressive.

On German Eurosport it`s Snooker time ;( So I will miss both Canadian races and the next 2 vuelta stages ;(
It might be that QS had this disadvantage, but they should know the stage better. They can`t speed up until the corner and go down to almost zero...

At this point it's looking like a GC rider will win the points.
Probably whichever one can climb well and do the best TT.

Depends how many breakaways stay clear on the bigger stages, to take the win, I guess
