Is it just me, or is that "sign a piece of paper" comment quite usual for the Americans?
I mean, I've been to the US a couple of times, and every time I enter I have to fill out this formula with questions like: "Are you a terrorist?", "Do you bring in any bombs?", etc., etc. Even if I was a terrorist, why would I ever answer yes to those questions? |

Russia eventually bothered sending some gas in the tubes.
Geopolitical analyses I read and watched a while ago said that Georgia was just a test to check Western countries reactions, but that Ukrain was their real target. This seems to be confirmed with that gas crisis, supposedly stolen gas being just a convenient motivation to pick at Ukrain. How long before they start a war there ?
Cutting the gas was also a way for Russia to show Europe how badly we need them.
The growth of the Russian nationalist feeling is worrying me. |
