That with the goals makes sense of course, allthough it will make some WT races completely overpowered - maybe the highest category of CT races could be excluded, to give a bit more choice for goals?
And another reason I'm against simply putting a rd divide between riders with an 80+ stat is that way too many rules are creating a long list of sub-top riders. It's very, very hard to go from 80 to 81 as it is, but with all this superstar stuff, why would anyone want to update a rider from 79 to 80? I'm afraid that we might have huge amounts of 79 riders in a few seasons, but more or less the same 81+ guys.

Ok so I thought I had 32k left, but instead I have 5. How did that happen?

He has said that it's your own responsibility to keep track of your budget, but you can't go under 0 in budget, so there will be a punishment if this happens or your final deal wouldn't come through

Thanks for the suggestions so far, keep them coming. For the 2nd draft round, I'm going to post a list of teams that I haven't received a PM from. If you already sent one, please resent, I probably lost it in all the PMs of the last few days. Please send it in by tomorrow, so we can continue with FA's.
Still need Round 2 PMs from:
- Drapac
- Cofidis
- NetApp
- Lampre
- Katusha
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

is it to late to start complaining about being the promotee (thus losing custom riders) but only getting 1 draft round?

Thanks to jaxica and JoeArmstrong for your responses to my lazy plea for riders yesterday. I feel that I have managed to complete this phase of the pre-season now.
Quite entertaining to say the least. I particularly enjoyed dealing with Movistar, Euskatel and Cannondale. I feel those deals made sense - the last two deals are bit silly from me but I don't really think money has any worth in the low amounts I had.
But thanks to everyone for quick responses.
Btw just to make the Orica <-> Lampre deal look even more ridiculous I enquired about swapping Lasca for Anacona before transfers and I was told he was already part of a deal. I did hope poor sutty had got a good deal - but I fear not!

That's a fair point actually, as you lost 3 riders. Send in a list and I'll add you at the back

Fun Fact: FDJ had the joint least number of riders (16) post-renewals yet can't get a second draft pick.
Fun Fact #2: AG2R had less riders (26) than Europcar (27) post-renewals yet can't get a second draft pick

FDJ just didn't want to extend them, entirely different story.

Well i quite litterally couldn't renew everyone, rather than chosing not to. Once that's clear obviously i'm gonna try and keep the big rider to sell

another question
will the superstats that are now FA keep their orignal demands even if they don't get signed for a while (thus creating a possible season without them) or will they demand something that's less high demand worthy (if you get what I mean by that but I seem to miss the right word, right now)

I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but they will keep the demands they made earlier.

He wants to know wether they'll become desperate when it looks like no one is going to sign them (f.e. Kittel settling on leading any GT), as far as I can tell.

Ollfardh, I don't understand your logic. I am eith TMM here. Why should Europcar get a 2nd draft pick and not the relegated teams?

I don't get it either. Europcar have WT budget now.

The extra draft pick was to let the CT teams extra riders. Europcar lost 3 riders (forced) because of their promotion, so they should get an extra pick as well. The relegated teams should have enoguh riders (unless they decided not to renew, which is their own fault).

Personally i think a better way to give Europcar compensation would be a financial boost in the same way teams got compensation for losing a rider to doping. Especially as Europcar start with about the same number of riders as a WT team. It's just a slap to relegating teams and to teams like Caja who have way less than riders than Europcar anyway
