You can adjust the bars so he gets best build up for Tour, won't be perfect though. I assume you wont send him to Giro in that case so it doesn't really matter |

Prepare for Career related rant......I spent absolutely ages earlier setting up all my riders yearly schedule.... only to find after advancing the game a bit it's undone all my work. That was an afternoon wasted. |

This is why I prepare in quarters
Or because I'm lazy... |

Never paid attention to this, but do AI teams buy free agents? |

I'm downloading the PCM expansion at the moment so I'm thinking of starting a new career. Thing is I don't know what to do. I normally go with a custom team, but I have a tendancy of making them a little too strong. I'm not fantastic at the game (I can normally get fairly solid results in normal difficulty).
I was thinking about using a team that really exists in the conti-pro divison but I'm not sure if I'll win enough to stop me raging too much (Although if the sponsor goals arer top 5's and top 10's then I shouldn't get too frustrated) I'd ideally like a side that can win some minor races and then go in breakaways at the WT 7-day stage races and maybe ride 1 GT. Hopefully chase the mountain jersey at these events. Because of this I was thinking a custom team with Nieve and J.Moreno and then aload of domestiques to help them chase stages/mountain jerseys
Any suggestions? (And I hope this is the right section ) |

@nutter
Right section
If you are looking at a real team, then Colombia fits quite nicely. PCT team, good climbing but not enough to dominate every race. You can get some WT wildcards with a bit of luck (or some editing).

NetApp is perfect for you.
1. 21 riders so you can make 3 groups of riders ( i made 2 Mo/Hilly and 1 flat)
2. König can win 2.HC / Kluge& Schorn Top 5 1.HC, with luck they can win
3. Mendes, Voss can reach top 10 in 2.HC, but little poor in ITT / de la Cruz is a KOM Rider.
4. Barta is your ITT specialist
5. i bet you will win the ct on normal, so you have to calculate the upcoming season because your sponsor semms to be Mc Scrooge. Fire all staff and save your money.
6. Usually you will get 3-4 invites for WT, forget the cobblestones, go with König for 2.WT. i got an invite to the vuelta as in real, König is in to 10 (on hard)
7. NC: König, Barta, Huzarski can bring NC Jerseys to the team

Okay, thanks for the suggestion. I normally edit the finances a bit anyway so that should be okay (I don't like that fact that no matter what I do I'm always in the red)
They do sound about right though with the focus on hilly/mo stages but still the possibility of going on the flat. |

Flat stages will be some Sponsor goals - its a german team, so you have to make some good results in:
1. Bayern Rundfahrt 2.HC
2. Münsterland Giro 1.1
3. Rund um Köln 1.1
4. Vattenfall Classic 1. WT
5. Berlin 1.1
6. Eschborn (formerly known as "Rund um den Henninger Turm" 1.HC (hilly-> Flat)
6. NC Germany

Just dominated the Grand Prix Pino Cerami taking 6 of the top 10 places, set huge pace over penultimate cobbled section, dragging a group of about 15 clear, leaving Leukemans, Stannard and co behind and riding clear with Keukeleire and Selvaggi on last cobble section, then just following the wheels with the other guys and outsprinting them at the end!

My sponsor (whilst high on crack, I presume) has set top 10 in Dwars Door Vlaanderen as a goal.
My best cobble rider is Jon Dibben (68FL, 69COB). This can't go wrong. |

Sponsor don't really care about your riders... or anything else I presume.
One thing would be great, if a sponsor could announce goals during the previous season (in time for squad adjustments).

Guys..want to ask...clearly it's my fault that i put my leader Nibali's fitness schedule for Giro as i want him to go to Tour..and now it show that his fitness not as peak as in Giro..Do i need to change him to go to Giro or i just can put more build up race for him before Tour?
As said before, you need to edit the "bars" of the training schedule for Nibali.
Races have nothing to do with Fitness. Races are only to improve rhythm.
You can click the bars to make them go up or down (left click, right click). But you need to have expansion 1.0.3.0 or higher for that to work.
Cheers,

Well, it's only included from patch 1.3.0.0(or later).
So upgrade your game!

Apparently it is me that is high on crack. The sponsors are infinitely wise. Bow down to Madison for they can predict the future.

ahahaha nice done... your sponsors are really wise...
Mine (and I think its a bug) wanted some top 10 and top 5 in WT races even my team was continental when I started my carreer... (maybe because it was a made up team... I don't know what happened)
